the Oilers are a solid team...one of the best defenses i have played against in all my years...fast to the ball...a team that rarely misses a tackle...and when u r tackled u def know it...thanks for the bruises
Oilers gained nothing but respect from me...

Unlike most other teams we arent making excuses why we lost, we traveled well but they are the first place defense for a reason we didn't get a rythem going and they did. They played very well and deserve to move on to the championship, we are proud of what we accomplished this year going 9-2 including our preseason game and look forward to trying for undefeated next year.
Shout out to the blaze u guys were Def. The better team on sat. And one of the most physical I have ever played I don't think I have been this sore after a game in a while thanks for the game it was fun and good luck in the championship.

First of I would like to give a shout out the the Blaze not only for a great game but to the community for the support that is shown to there program. They were able to pack the stands for the battle. If you look at the score it indicates that we folded and didnt preform well however 2 goal line stands early in the game resulting in 3 points rather than 7 can not go unaccounted for. there are no excuses we have 34 guys on our roster and traveld 28, all of them leaving on Friday traveling to Idaho Falls that my friends constitutes pure dedication to the team. what happened is that the blaze were the better team for this game. I can tell you right now that the players that traveled and participated in this game walked away brused and beat up but not without learning what it feels like to play football in the semi-final game there are lessons in all aspects of life and our guys got a big one. I dont think they will settle for a looseing season ever agian, this year we learned to win as a team and we learned how to loose as a team in the end this will make us stronger.
I want to add that the Oilers have an awesome group of fans. Talk about support for their team! I'm glad for the experience of having them at our home field.
First off to the Blaze...Thank you for a great game and being gracious hosts. You guys showed us the difference between regular season and championship football and it will help us be better prepared next season. I am pulling for you guys in the championship, not because I don't want the Matadors to win, but because its always better to say you lost to the eventual champion. haha. It was a good, long trip and now I can say I have played football in Montana which is something I have secretly wanted to do since I founded the Oilers back in 2007. With that said I won't mind if we don't have to make the 10 hour trip again! Also, I don't know if any of you know the owners and workers at the steakhouse we ate at after the game but if anyone does tell them thank you again from us for staying open for us well after closing.
To those who have reached out this year and rooted for us and shown their support from our community, fans, other teams thank you as well. It was a surrell feeling this year going from what many posters had said as an RMFL doormat to being considered a AAA possibility. It has always been a goal to make the playoffs and win a championship and until this year it seemed like a longshot.
To my Oiler brothers, lets gear up and give it one last go this year at the Stars and Stripes tournament, to those who are unable to attend the offseason has officially started. Any other players on other teams not in the tournament we are still accepting positions so come be an Oiler for a weekend.
Good luck to the Blaze and Matadors this weekend as well as the Revolution and Stealth.
