I know this is long overdue, but since I'm PCSing to another base, I just wanted to thank everybody involved with this league. Thank you Brad Thurber and Doc for allowing me to be apart of y'all's journey. Thank you Gladiators, past and present, as I was spoiled getting to play and coach alongside America's finest ICBM warriors (and civilians) everyday. I'd go to battle for y'all any day. Thank you Blaze organization, especially Shane Jurasek and Buckie Brawley, for letting me tag along last year. Thank you Lee Vernoy and Michael Connolly for covering the Montana teams and the RMFL. Playing football has been a huge part of my life and the RMFL gave me another chance after college. While we bicker about the AAA/AA split and other stupid crap, don't take this league or this game for granted because you never know when the next play might be your last (read Ryan Lang's post on the RMFL FB page). I'd never thought I'd see the day where I would rather be in Montana. I'll be stationed in Colorado Springs in a couple of months, so if you're ever in the area, hit me up and we'll have a beer or twenty. Good luck today everybody and stay safe!
Loved battling with you Austin...take care and stay in touch. You should look up Roland Rainey, the owner of the of the CS Cyclones--he's a really good dude and could probably use a good defensive coach or player.
I'm actually going to volunteer coach at the Academy Prep School. They're pretty low on scheduled games so I might suggest that they look to the RMFL. They've played semi pro teams in the past and why not play the best in the country.
