Better than last week predictions ….

Rev @ Ducks

As stated before I believe in the Ducks but how long and IF they pull together as a team is the question remember Ducks, football is the ultimate team sport!!! I think Hans is a serviceable QB and they seem to have adequate receiving corps, but they must get on the same page. Their D I believe is better than the Rebels game shows they seem to have a stout front seven if the back end can get on the same page they could surprise the Rev (less talking and more focusing on assignment might be the solution here, from what I hear).

The rev look to have picked up where they left off I have to think a man of Charlies experience is going to be able to put up more than 21 especially with the receiving corps available, none better in my opinion. Their D is producing all over the place what was it 6 sacks in one game and a turnover? Nice start nothing takes the pressure off an offense like a productive defense!! I think Solo, Levine, Dustin Reid, and Angel keep the score low and the Offense brings a little more punch this week. However I believe the Ducks will improve on their first performance.

The Game

Shock at Rebels.

I did hear that the shock did destroy a drinking facility, great win by Kyto and his clan. The biggest question is, are we going to hear as much from Hoop on the field as he talks on here?? Time to pay off the credit card of talking and the shock will need a big effort from the little man. The Shock arguably have the best QB to ever play in the RMFL…any arguments here?? I think sometimes it is wholly possible for JK to win a game on his own. Jared and Suka are possibly the best coaches out there after all Jared is the returning coach of the year! The Shock have no shortage of offensive weapons to run and catch the ball the big question is how is the O-line?? As of yet they are untested and this week will be a tough way to get your first exam! The Shocks defense looks to return the same bunch as previous years where they have been one of the best. Troy Peterson is a nightmare for opposing o lines and word is he will get one of his old running mates back in Josh Slater.  Can they stop the Rebels seemingly potent attack on their first time out?

The Rebels get on their own field for the first time this year and this may be the only true home field advantage in the league. They seem to be able to move the ball efficiently with many new faces. I believe they will have a better test this week and allow us to more fully understand who they are. The D looks to be the same as ever, always scary!! They will definitely be tested as they face JK this week! There are still many unknowns on this team for me but the way the story is being written they look exciting. How I would love to sit back in the sunny southern Utah stands and watch this game it looks to be an exciting affair, one for the books?? Alas other duties call and I will not be able to enjoy such leisure. I think the Rebels are too tough for a first test and they will get this one at home.

Rebels 28- Shock 21
