Stars & Stripes Academy teams up with RMFL for a great weekend of football…
In coordination with the Stars & Stripes Officials Academy (SASA), the RMFL and other invited teams will be playing 10 games at a couple of locations over the weekend of May 17th, 18th, & 19th.I’m really excited for the RMFL to showcase both regular season sanctioned games, exhibition games, and the opportunity to have a few teams come in from outside the state to play—this is a great opportunity for us as a league to have 12 or 13 RMFL teams in one city over the weekend.For those teams playing that weekend, they are going to have a great opportunity to watch a lot of football games including AA, AAA, & some teams from other leagues.
One of the most fun games of the weekend will be the very first exhibition game, to be held at 4:30pm on Friday, May 17th.This is purely an exhibition game, open rosters, available to anyone that would like to play.I will be coaching one team and Jared Emerick (Shock Head Coach and Utah Regional Manager) will be coaching the other.We will have jerseys for all participants, and everyone can wear helmets and pants from their respective teams.Because this is the first game of the weekend, we realize we won’t get a lot of the big-name players, but are really hoping to draw guys that don’t get as much playing time as they’d like, or even those that aren’t playing in the RMFL this year.The purpose of this game is to give guys that don’t get a lot of playing time a chance to shine, as a fun way to kick off the weekend.Anyone that is interested in playing in this game can contact me directly at 406-750-3015.
After the exhibition game, things will get a whole lot more serious Friday night, as our matchups include the Cobras playing the Vipers and the REVolution playing the Mudd Ducks.The Friday night games will be held at Clearfield High School and Davis High School—we will release a final schedule with all locations and game times by the end of this week.
Saturday will be an RMFL fan’s (or player’s) dream with 6 games at two locations (Woods Cross High School & Davis High School) including the following match ups:Sting vs. Oilers, Vikings vs. Diggers, Warriors vs. Wolverines (a Utah County team that has considered joining the RMFL), Stealth vs. DC Reign (a Denver area team that also wanted to join the RMFL this past year), REVolution vs. AA Combined team, & Shock vs. Rebels to finish things off.On Sunday, the Mudd Ducks will play the DC Reign at Rice Eccles Stadium as the final game of the weekend.
We’re really excited to have the participation of some of the non-RMFL teams including the Wolverines & DC Reign to round out the field of teams.I think this is a great opportunity for some of the AA teams to watch AAA teams and vice versa. All in all, it will be a great weekend of football.SASA will be paying all of the field and officials costs as well as contributing some money to help with costs for traveling teams, etc.

Darrell I don't know if you want the whole schedule cause that I don't know but I know we play at 6 at Davis High School. If there are nachos winner buys loser nachos??? Or is betting for nachos a life time ban :D
HAHA, I knew about our game and let's not call it a bet... we can have a "gentlemen's agreement" that the loser will treat the winner to some lovely concession stand nachos.
P.S. I like jalapeños on mine.

So even though I'm a avid of the "concession nacho", I would have much rather this thread stayed on track with my "cry for attention" instead of you giving us tips on eating unhealthy...
