I have known about the RMFL for 10+ years now and have a great respect for that league. Please do not judge Colorado football on what you see from the DC Reign. They are a group of upstarts who think they are the best team in Colorado, yet they don't want to join the longest running Minor League Organization (Colorado Football Conference). I know for a fact that any of our top teams (Colorado Springs Flames, Denver Pirates, Pueblo Steel, North Metro Thunder, and Mile High Grizzlies) would be more than willing to play teams from the RMFL. Maybe set up a home and home series. Would any teams be interested in making this happen?
Great idea. A few years ago I was paying attention to the Mile High Grizzlies who boasted a good team at the time. I would love to see the RMFL Champion vs CFC Champion in a bowl game.
Or any two teams willing to travel to make it happen. I would definitely like to see a link between the CFC and the RMFL.
Many of the Stealth guys were part of the Wasatch Wildcats including myself, who played in the CFC about 10+ years ago. I will say that the CFC has some great teams and playing them is always a good time. I would love to see the RMFL and the CFC figure something out to play games against each other. The CFC teams had good followings, nice facilities, and we were always treated well on our trips out to play them.
