Subpar predictions for week 8

As I lean back in my chair drinking my Bailey’s and coffee preparing for bed I would like to reminisce on the reasons for our past Holiday. No amount of giving will be sufficient to payback those that give, and gave, their lives so we can live the ones we want to. Out of respect to those fallen and still serving let us all step back and be grateful for what we have and how we got it!! Thank you to all those that make it possible for me to do the things I desire!!!

Back to the grind after a much needed vacation, there is certainly nothing wrong with taking four days off work!!  I have returned to the RMFL message board to see much argument on the opposing views of AA and AAA, well it is about that time of year is it not? Even though some will get hurt feelings I believe this banter is good for the league, often it leads to good ideas that the esteemed GM’s can meet about in their annual inebriation gathering.

On the negative side, I am slightly offended that I have been relegated to an alias.., which I am, and a sub-par writer…, which I am, therefore I guess I have no room to be offended. Although, coming from a great and well respected mind such as Christopher William Hooper, I feel a little down. Everything as it is I think I will survive to write another day I guess you can’t please everyone, and I know I know if you are not a member of the Shock organization you are just sub-par, it’s that “team life”…

STEALTH @ REBELS

Rebels were a letdown in the Stars and Stripes tourney, while the Stealth looked at the top of their game. The stealth are a very dangerous team. They have the best RB, WR, and LB groups in the league without question. The QB position is much improved; Steve Vincent will give any QB in this league a run for their money, he is certainly in the top three. The O and D lines are not tops in the league but they certainly rank in the top 3 in both positions. I like where this team is headed I think they could go undefeated the rest of the way if they can keep the roster together.

The Rebels on the other hand looked lost at woods cross, in all aspects of the game. I would give credit to the Shock but the Rebels looked inept. From not being able to stop simple offensive plays time after time, to not understanding how to finish on their own offensive side. They have potential but they look like they are all waiting for someone else to make a play. As long as they play the,” I’ll let you make the play” game, they will get this same result week in and week out. The top end of the RMFL is too good to play that way!!

Having said all that one would think I believe the Stealth are going to blow the Rebels out of the water. However I believe the Rebels will pull it together enough to make life tough for the Stealth. This will be a good match up down in the desert, it is getting to that time of year that favors the Rebels when they are at home. It’s called HEAT! If the Rebels bring the same game they brought two weeks ago the heat will be there only advantage. The Stealth will travel down to St. George with victory in mind as they need the win for seeding purposes, and pride purposes. I think the Rebels will be better in this game and they will not get their doors blown off but I think a hot Stealth team will have enough to pull a victory in Southern Utah.

Stealth 28 Rebels 21

DUCKS @ SHOCK

Mr. Rozy sir you should go easy on yourself and your team, you are now on a win streak!! Sometimes all it takes is for a team to taste victory in order to learn how to obtain it. The Ducks now have their first W and I hope they learn from it. I DO NOT think the Ducks are a joke as far as their players are concerned; a lot of talent on this team, where they become a joke is when they engage their mouths. Remember, all it will take is a couple big plays this week to truly start believing as a team!! I fully believe the Ducks are capable of pulling out one or two more victories this season. Also I DO NOT believe the Ducks belong in the AA.

The Shock played wonderfully this week, as there is nothing a subpar alias such as myself can add to their glory, I’ll leave that one right there.

Ducks 17 Shock 0

Sidekick, just making sure I'm on the same page as you, the Ducks only won an exhibition game correct? Because looking at the schedule they are still win less in the league? I'm assuming you are giving them props here for the Dc Reign game correct? But you are correct as much as I respect Hoop, he hates everyone outside of a Shock uniform lol

Yes I am talking about the DC team. A win is a win and every win counts in my book.
Kicker with your QB I never REALLY expect you to get shutout...would you feel better if I said 9 points?
