OK this makes no sense to me... How are the Bullets 7-1 number 5 seed and the Matadors 6-2 a four seed.....

Hey Dozer, if you have questions on the seedings, give me a call. We do an overall seeding (1-8) with Idaho being guaranteed 2 of the top 4 seeds because there are twice as many teams there; but also bracket the playoffs so that UT & MT aren't playing in the first round, so the overall seedings don't always match up with the bracket. That's why you have Billings traveling to the Matadors, even though they have a better record (just like Missoula traveled to Arco last year); and why you don't have a pure bracket (#1 Generals vs. #8 Bulldawgs, etc.). The tie-breaker between divisions (because we don't have any head-to-head, common opponents, etc.) falls immediately to points allowed. If you have questions, my number is 406-750-3015.
