So if the league meeting turns out in favor of proposal #2 creating a 16 team AAA league, I'm curious as to what sidekick and Turks (all others as well) pre-season rankings will look like.  It will def make for an interesting post season and I'm excited about mixing it up and playing the leagues best.  Are we gonna see some power shifts as far as league best and/or exciting "upsets", march/April can't get here fast enough.  Happy New Years fellas, 2014 RMFL let's get it.....

Well Greg if I were to take the Sting out of it since we are obviously partial mine would be (Mostly based off last year with some of what I've heard about this year)

1 - Utah Stealth

2 - Dixie Rebels

3 - Wasatch Rev

4 - Utah Shock

5 - Boise Generals

6 - Missoula Thunder

7 - Idaho Matadors

8 - Great Falls Gladiators

9 - Magic Valley Bulldawgs

10 - Rocky Mountain Mudd Ducks

11 - Logan Stampede

12 - Arco Anarchy

13 - Billings Bullets

14 - Laurel Loco's

15 - Utah Cobras

And I would place the Sting someplace in there.

Interesting question Sting G1; I still have a lot of research to do, and I will have my work cut out for me if this outcome does in fact come to fruition.

Let me preface this by throwing it out there that this list would purely be based on the results of last years season, rumors I have heard, and most importantly my opinion of course! All kidding aside that is all I can provide at this time.

1- Stealth (have to be here)

2- Shock (I put them here because of a major off-season free agent pickup) We will see how that one plays out during the season.

3- Rebels

4- Revolution

As we have witnessed in the past, these four teams have the ability to end at the top. And I would be shocked if any of them fall below #4.

This is where it all gets interesting; any of the following teams could make runs, but I believe some are built top to bottom stronger than others.

5- Generals (Defending champs, maybe they lose players and maybe they don't)

6- Matadors (Have been built to compete for several years now)

The two above teams and the following few teams could easily interchange as well. It all depends on consistency.

7- Gladiators

8- Sting

9- Mudd Ducks (Extremely tough squad IMO)

10- Bulldawgs

11- Thunder (Could be higher depending on how they play together)

12- Bullets

The following teams could be a toss up;

13- Anarchy (Could definitely be one of the six above)

14- Stampede

15- Cobras

16- Loco's

There is my list, take it with a grain of salt. But there sure are some pretty good playoff pairings there don't you think? Playoff seeds would most likely shift a spot or two but that would be how I would see it all playing out.

Just a couple quick questions..... How are we asking for these no name FBs opinions? How many AAA games you watched in your life Turk? This bag of douche knows about a Shock free agent pick up worthy of putting us ahead of the Rebels and Stealth that I don't even know about. He must be Adam Schefter! IMO... What we've lost from our roster greatly outweighs what we have gained. But that is just my opinion and it is possible I could be proven wrong. Let's just take it easy on these predictions when clearly they know little to nothing at all.

I asked for all opinions and called those two by name only cause they have been some what consistent with posting "their" opinions on rankings and predictions. It is what it is an opinion and if nothing else it's entertainment., you of all should appreciate that part of it. Although I too question this super free agent and our position at 8 but cool I don't mind playin myth buster, less pressure to win more respect when we do. But overall this just helps build anticipation for that first kick off. Things really look crazy when that schedule come out though.....

Look I never claimed to be an expert on AAA. I have been to some AAA games but not near all of them. That's why I write AA and why I said I would have to research if the AAA/AA thing happens. I just answered the question I was asked.

Sting G1 to answer your question. The Sting didn't finish above any of the teams above them on my list. And if the AAA/AA thing happens they would be the #2 seed in the AA playoffs on my list above. I think that's accurate right now.

You not going to defend yourself? You blatantly lied and made up information to sound intelligent. Who is this major free agent pick up for us? "Some" AAA games... Well at least that is plural so we know it it's at least two. Based off your lack of knowledge, we can all say that it is probably just the minimum. Until you come with FACTS.... Sit down while grown folks are talking.

I don't really need to defend myself, I'm a grown ass man. And I lied? Nah, I just chose to ignore you. The pickup that I was referring to was your new QB Wager. He told me himself, just yesterday, that he was playing with you this coming season and leaving the Cobras. While he isn't JK, I have a ton of respect for him and believe he is an up and coming young player that will do very well with your team. Also, I didn't put you ahead of the Rebels and Stealth, only the Rebels and Rev. I have done nothing but show you and the Shock respect so I'm not sure where the aggression comes from. Relax man. Like I said I never claimed to know everything about anything. And I sure as hell don't have to debate my intelligence with someone on an online forum. I'm above that. But since we are quoting each other and all, I will sit back and watch while the "grown folks" talk.

HAHAHAHA I am just happy to see the Ducks arent in last place..... Seems like this year should be interesting with alot of players leaving teams to play with some others... Never a dull day in the RMFL. At the end of the day it doesnt matter the rankings til games start to be played.. Stealth are the champs and to quote my man Ric Flair " To be the man youve got to beat the man... WOOOOO"

I've played against JK and Wager. Wager won't fill those shoes just yet. He's a good QB but one year on a AA squad doesn't prove he's a "major off season pick-up" In my oh so humble opinion it's very hard to replace a Jordan Kjar. That being said I do not think any pre-season poll is gonna be accurate until each team plays a little bit and the talent or lack there of is seen on the field.

For the record:

We don't want "The Future" to do anything but create his own legacy.

Wager has a lot of potential, and the Shock organization plan on being around a long time.

I think with Wager at the helm, it's safe to say we will be.

I believe in Jordan Wager.

No offense to any of the Cobras he played with last year, but I don't think it was the same talent pool he will be surrounded by now.

I think we all have only seen a glimpse of "The Future".

SPOILER ALERT: Y'all thought JK was a badass QB, wait til you see him on the other side of the ball.

Nah, I'm just messing with y'all.

Wager is not looking to fill anyone's shoes especially JK"s he is his own man looking to make a name of his own . As far as the Cobras go they are a great team! To bad they couldn't hold onto him ..but they will do fine, can't blame a kid for trying his hand at AAA. That's what this leagues is about..

Looking forward to the new season!!

I agree Kyto. I think you guys have the talent for Jordan Wager to do great things. It'll be a fun season. I can't speak for the ownership of our team but I for one hope to see you guys this year. Only touchdown I've ever scored was against you guys a couple years ago. See you all in a few months

@JayeWebster

So, the Cobras released the QB that took y'all to the AA playoffs?

@Turk

The Shock lose JK (the grapevine tells me that this is questionable), arguably the best QB in the league, & gain, if released, a AA QB (with no AAA experience?) and you put the Shock at #2 overall?

Yeah Turk!

What the hell?

Rank the REV up there-- with their new HC and Ownership who back in 2010 was voted to be NOT allowed in the league.

Lol.

Any person who couldn't get voted into the league can now buy a team from an existing member.

This is a fact folks.

In other news---

Utah Shock is now For Sale for those who didn't get past the new team phase.

Glacier?? Vegas Trojans?? I got an RMFL spot for you to buy ...

For someone to buy my team. Duh.

I don't know about Wager. I tell all players who come to the Shock to talk to their GMs first, then talk to the league, then me.

Jaye will have to answer that for ya. I think he is okay. But I couldn't tell ya. And I wasn't being salty-- I was just making all these know it alls aware.

Actual Kyoto you can just take over a team. You can spend your own money and time and call yourself an owner but when you say you are closing the doors the commissioner just tells you . He don't care he will just take the money from who ever shows up and calls himself a Gladiator . So ownership does not mean a thing in the RMFL. So all you new guys who want a team but can't get in just take one over . Plus the rules that are ment for ever team only comes in to play when you want to make a new team . Like bank accounts or business licensee ..

1. I've got respect for Wager. Dude balled out his first year in the league and will only get better. I wish him luck (except for 2 games) in the upcoming season.

2. Kyto, how much you want for that there Shock? I don't wanna do all of the other crap that's required on the checklist (like build a roster). Not sure what your price is but we can work something out. The way my bank account is set up though...I've got the savings and then the check-... nevermind. I just know I can't afford the $100,000 that was proposed to me by a certain Utah AA team a couple of years ago (still makes me laugh).

3. Still looking for the application for the Eff Turk Club.

4. Ryan brings up a question... I thought that existing teams were to be audited (or confirmed or whatever) to make sure that they uphold the standards being placed on new entrants. Is that not true? Disclaimer: My understanding of the "audit" might have just been some "The Way Things Should Be, According to Darrell" daydreaming and not necessarily any statement ever made.

Why would you close the doors?

Be a better owner not a bitter one.

Just cause you can't pay the bills shouldn't mean you should close the doors.

I paid the bills that I knew about. I can't help that I had a bad buisness partner who, lied to me  about what he paid for and signed contracts that were double the amount requiered for cost. And yes I am bitter to the fact that the commishner took all value away from my investment when he told me he will take anyone money that shows up for the meeting for the gladiators. So yes very bitter on this end

Guess what? I paid the bills that I didn't even know about back in 2006.

Why? Because I made an investment to a whole team and a commitment to schools, people, leagues etc..

You probably lost your investment when you only paid bills that you knew about.

You committed to something before you knew what you were getting yourself into?

Bad partner? Partnership takes two my man.

Ya KYOTO, Ownership don't mean a thing!!!

Ryan,

Are you kidding me? Being a former owner myself I find the CRAP you are spewing highly offensive and I am fairly confident that every other owner feels the same way. You have been half an owner for what a year?

You couldn't keep it together so you want to close the doors on a successful program instead of finding a way to keep it going and you have the balls to come on here and degrade the league that so many guys have worked hard for?

Do the Players that YOU are suppose to be taking care of feel the way you do? I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM THEM.

Bank accounts, Business accounts, Field locations, and an owner who is taking care of his responsibilities are required by every team, not just new teams. This is part of the recertification process.

Owners come and Go. Some move on with dignity, and then there's YOU!

I did put them at #2, its my list, a list that doesn't mean much at this time of year. There are tons of details to be finalized and JK can never be replaced. But I fully expect the Shock to move forward if he indeed doesn't come back this season. I have a ton of respect and faith in Wager and the Shock organization. As I have respect for all the hard working organizations in this league. I think the idea of what Wager could do on that Shock team is intriguing.

Hey nickname that I don't remember you said you are a former owner. Why is that. Lol.     I invested in the league by what you sold me as a board.    What is funny You are no longer a owner (why is that). That is right you ain't no dummy.   and neither am I when it comes to investments.  I am telling my side so no new people get ****ed over like I did.  the Gladiators are a successful team they have been lucky by great talent and bent rules.  Great falls should have been aaa for a long time but they haven't by bent rules. I supported the team during aaa and then back down to aa   And nothing changes except money.  And what ever your name go ****  your self you use to Owen a team you quit but still found a spot in the rmfl as so called rule guy (nothing to invest but an ****tiy ego). You did nothing to up hold the rules . And this is why there will always be drama in the league because the people who are ment to up hold the rules don't.

No they shouldn't have been.  They came up to AAA and got worked, by EVERYONE.

The only reason they made the playoffs is because the Spartans forfeited their spot to the glads.

That term "bent rules" that your throwing around & which ALLOWED the gladiators to stay AA is the only reason why the gladiators are still around..

because, like y'all said back then, you would've folded if you had to move up to AAA because of travel, money, player numbers, etc.

You, sir, are trippin'..

It's naive to think that a new owner of the REV team realistically wants to come into a successful team , change or convince players who've been playing together for years & are in the twilight of their careers. The REV will be no different & totally fine.
