As the former Assistant GM for the MV Bulldawgs please do not go with a 8 team AAA format. The schedule for the 4 teams that are not at the same level as the top 4 is brutal, I know from experience. We moved up when no one else would against our will for the good of the league, then stayed up when we should have moved down because no one else would move up.
With that being said I would hope that you all would exclude the Dawgs from any discussion that has anything to do with a 8 team AAA (we spent 3-5 years at the AAA level when we have never been to a AA championship game)
In my opinion (which I have been a part of the league since 2002) the AAA should always be larger than the AA, and the 16 team AAA would be the way to go.With this format it makes it desirable to be in the AAA for travel reasons, which is probably the biggest reason for teams to want to stay in the AA other than to win a championship for 9th place so they can retire a winner. (of9th place).
It will be the 16 team AAA format. There is already enough GM's on board to get the vote through. I would probably start planning accordingly. Only 3 or 4 teams are fighting it and if they would really think about it I'm sure they would agree that it is the best for the league as a whole. We are 100% for the 16 team AAA and that puts us in a lot more difficult schedule but in the long run it will improve my team. RMFL '14 is going to be the best year this league has had.
The only people in this league that NEED knee pads imo are people that worry about their knees taking a beating. Soooo....that would be, whomever wants to wear them for football safety and those Karney Brothers (for reasons I can not list). Someone could probably get a free pair from Tom, I am sure he is not using his anymore.

The real question is, Will the two-time AAA champs have someone at the meeting or will they blow it off again so they can party at Mo Betta or Bout Time?
