TOP FIVE “FACTS” THAT YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN
1st Edition
1.Since the RMFL AA/AAA split there has been 8 champions. Out of those 8 champions only 2 times has the RMFL Overall MVP won a championship (2007 – Dave Stireman, Ogden Rhino Raiders, 2011 – Diarra Fields, Dixie Rebels) **I’m not sure about the 2011 stat.
2.If the league would’ve kept the league records Levine Tupe (Wasatch Revolution) would’ve surpassed Matt Culbertson last year as the All Time Leading Tackler in the RMFL. (All league records were AAA stats, Levine has only played AAA)
3.Jordan Kjar (Utah Shock) is the only player since the 2006 merger to win the Overall MVP more than once. ( 06 – Troy Dougherty, Madizon Lionz, 07 – Dave Stireman, Ogden Rhino-Raiders, 08- Jordan Kjar, Shock, 09- Brandon Peebler, Idaho Falls Mustangs, 2010 – HELP, It was a Spartans player I think, 2011 – Diarra Fields**, Dixie Rebels, 2012- Jordan Kjar, Utah Shock, 2013 – Matt Thornton, Utah Shock)
4.Only Dave Stireman has won multiple championships as a starting QB in the RMFL AAA Division. Stireman (which the AA trophy is named after) won the championship in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Ryan Harris was the starting QB in 2008 for the Cache Valley Bears, Charlie Peterson for the REV in 2009, Josh Smith for the St. George Blitz in 2010, Diarra Fields in 2011 for the Rebels, Jeff Wissler for the Stealth in 2012, and then Steve Vincent for the Stealth in 2013.
5.Of the 24 teams left in the league only the Davis Vipers, Great Falls Gladiators, Idaho Mustangs, and Magic Valley Bulldawgs were in the league when the UFL and RMFL merged. Of those 4 teams, only the Magic Valley Bulldawgs had to regain entrance into the league after 2005 due to new ownership. Of those 4 teams only Rex Stacy is the same owner from back then.

Thanks for that info. Very interesting it's nice to know some of the history of the RMFL. I've looked for things like this (records and such) but they seem to be lost in cyberspace somewhere
There are a few faces that have been here for a while. Just gotta ask them. I've been around since 2004. And actually stayed up to date with both the RMFL and UFL since I graduated high school in 2002.
I plan on doing some more of these and a little more research along the way.
I can't do those any more though. You get tackling too hard penalties... And I will hurt myself more than the other person. They are fun though. Props to you, you jumped right back up. Then torched us the next week right over the middle. I guess instead of a Chris Benoit suplex it should have been a Goldberg Slam!! ;)
And Kyto, I of course am not counting AA in there.
