I don't understand why if a team folds the players of that folded team are not allowed to play on another team! Can somebody explain this to me?

Because owners voted that only 5 can go to a new team. It protects teams from 2 teams joining for a super team. Anything more than 5 needs to go through Brad, Doug and I.

I may be wrong and Jess can correct me but wasn't that just a AA rule? I am the one who proposed that rule and it was to stop AAA teams and AA Champions from folding and joining another AA team so they could just walk through the season and make the Championship.

There was the 5 player rule before that as well. They were all consolidated to one rule. It now says no more than 5 period.
