So the Generals more the excel last year in AA format, short handed or not...they couldn't slide a FG or any kind of pt in this game?  The Blaze that good? Or do the Generals have the same issue TVS had with travel?  Maybe should have put Tom in?  no

Stealth go ALLLLLLLL the way up to MT, and GF lays a goose egg? Same scenario here as above? No further comment needed...  hmm

Good job on the Sting for opening the season in AAA with a win. I hope you lose this weekend.

Rev/Rebels have another nail biter in StG. Expected nothing less then that!

Did I miss anything...?

From what I heard Old man Bennett had to play and got crushed!!! Somebody mentioned he got knocked out cold which I'm sure is false. 1 Int and 1 fumble. Props to him being a stubborn tough old bird though. You have to hand it to him for even being on the field. I'm sure every team the Generals play will have some sort of New Orleans bounty system on who gets the most sacks on him, or worse.

Props to the Rebels for pulling off the win. Looks like a great start to the season!!

Kicker, that is a great question "couldn't slide a field goal in there?" The question is answered by the score. We make no excuses for the way we played. We did not play well at all. You know how it is, sometimes the numbers aren't there when you travel and when you play a good team first game; getting the kinks out may take too long. Saturday was just like that. About last year; that was a long time ago and we are very proud of what we accomplished in 2013 but 2014 presents different challenges and getting bodies on the field is one of a few. We now know who on the Generals can play, we will play better the rest of the season.

Dozer, Tom was not knocked out, knocked around but not out. He stood tough in the pocket and finished the game on the field.

Everyone stay healthy and good luck. If we play you I will see you on the field. If we do not play you, Be well.

It would make a better story if all teams including losing teams report their stats...it would help people understand just what exactly happened during the games...

Haha, you send insults instead of just explaining your statement. Typical, nevermind. Have a great season.

I guess I will educate you on the word/ phrase never-mind. Never mind is used to imply the person using it does not care about the next comment you have to say. The actual definition is; do not worry about it or without considering something. In this case, never-mind is the perfect phrase. I don't care anymore about your translation. Good one though, you are good. You gave me 3rd degree burns with those newbie, toy box, simpleton lines all of those insults had me in stitches. You officially won the RMFL Today thread war. Congratulations. Consider this champ; all you had to do is explain it the first time I asked politely, but you chose to "do what you do". Way to represent "thrill", you showed me.

I gave you five minutes of my time (another win for you I'm sure) but you won't get another. So when you comment back with you clever words, know that I won't respond. You are going to chuckle to yourself after you send it saying "got em". Maybe call your buddies and tell them to look at what you wrote? I don't know but... I maybe right?  I'm too late huh? Dagnabbit!

I will read the words you type because I'm curious to see what you have to say. I'm new? I'm garbage? My team sucks? We didn't score? Welcome to AAA? You're so nice? Truly, I look forward to your word play.

Good Luck this season to you and your team.

Sorry, I'm new and do not know any better but I believe that if respect is given respect will be shown. Maybe that's just what real grown men do, think about that the next time you consider yourself grown throwing insults around like that's the thing to do these days. Be well friend.

But if youainttrillxx doesn't respond in a derogatory fashion, he will never get his post numbers up, because that's important...but you are right KingSuperman...after all this, his thesis is still implicit...maybe I could use my secret decoder ring to decipher what is being said...but I'm sure he was offended by the word translate, hence the attack...

Nofriendly, I meant no disrespect, I do not know anyone on here therefore there is zero reason for me to be disrespectful. I really wanted to understand what the message meant that's all. Seriously, thank you big homie for letting me know that I need to choose and arrange my words more carefully. Be well.

I was surprised to see Bennet back at the Helm of an RMFL team again.  The one hit he took from Spencer Steiner would have ended a lot of Quarterbacks days.  He is and always has been one tough dude.   He gets rid of the ball so quick he is hard to sack.  Jerry and Britt are two of the best recievers in the league regardless of level and that running back is a stud as well.  Thanks for coming to Montana and putting on a good show in our stadium.  Hopefully we can travel well and do the same for the Matadors this weekend.

BlazeCB, it was fun to be out there even though the score was lopsided. I like playing against #8. Those 3 guys from the Generals can play, they will appreciate that. Good luck this weekend and travel safe, it should be a good game. Blessings to you.

Blaze cb1 (Nick A?)
Thanks for the compliment. That Steiner can still bring it. Despite us coming up short, I just enjoy getting out there and hucking the ball. I signed on as a backup, but things appear to have not worked out that way. The Generals are a great group of guys and I'm having fun just being a part of it. You guys have a terrific squad and I expect you will surprise some AAA teams. We're hoping to get this back on track, so good luck the rest of the way and just maybe we'll meet again. Thanks again, Tom Bennett

That is what it is all about Tom, having a blast playing with the guys and enjoying the game we have all loved forever.  Yes this is Nick Arnold.  I have played against you 4 times now.  You have always been a tough competitor.  You will surpise some people for sure this season.  This might be the best squad Missoula has ever put together as far as talent all over the field goes.  You wont find a classier group of guys than Britt Hall, Jerry Smith and Tom Bennet that is for sure.  Yes Steiner is no Spring Chicken anymore but he is still one of the Top LB's in the league regardless of level.  Tom did you guys happen to get a film from that game.  I guess we had some technical difficulties and didnt get a film?
