Week 1 Predictions from an Ignorant Guy

Well i don't see any other predictions, so I figure a terrible prediction is better than no prediction. So this is my first time doing any predictions for AAA. So we will see how it goes. I haven't played a lot of the AAA teams, hence the title of this one.

AAA South Conference

the 'Big 4' all win.

AAA North Conference

Anarchy @ Bulldawgs

This is tough because I don't know much about the Anarchy right now. They moved to Blackfoot, ID, because of new ownership. But rumor has it, they had a lot of their guys retire from last season??? I'm not too sure how true that is... Either way the Anarchy will always be a hard-hitting smashmouth team that is hard to beat. The Bulldawgs have some playmakers on their sideline as well, though. I give this one to the Anarchy, because rumors in this league, are worth less than the paper they are written on.

Anarchy 14  Bulldawgs 7

Gladiators @ Loco Express

The Gladiators have usually been a hard team to beat in the past, but last season they really struggled. I admire them for sticking it out through all of the hardships from last season. The Locos are a formidable opponent. Last season they hosted in the 2nd tier of the AAA playoffs, which is more than can be said for a lot of first year expansion teams. I give this one to the Locos, based on what they accomplished last year.

Gladiators 10 Loco Express 21

Mustangs @ Snowdevils

This is my GOTW

Last season these two teams faced off twice. And each time, the Snowdevils won, once in OT and the other they scored in the last few minutes to take the lead and win the game. As the Snowdevils made sure everyone knew in the league meeting, they had picked up a lot of the guys from the again folded Blaze. So they have some new talent that they are expecting to catapult them to the top of the conference. I know the Mustangs have picked up some new talent as well. This could either be a very one-sided victory (depending on amount of talent picked up by either team), or another nail biter like last season that comes right down to the end to decide who wins...

AA

Guardians @ Warriors

I haven't heard much about the Guardians picking up any new talent, in fact from what I understand 1/2 their team took off and created another team and joined the ICFL. The Warriors are a team that plays hard to the last second of the game. They have a strong defense that will hold the Guardians to few yards. I think the AA will be dominated this season by the Oilers and the Warriors.

Guardians 0  Warriors 27

Outlaws @ Oilers

The Outlaws are coming off of a decisive win over the Idaho Phoenix. They are looking to carry that momentum into this game. The Oilers had an even more decisive victory of the same team. Although multiple injuries are already manifesting, I still think the Oilers take this pretty handily.

Outlaws 7  Oiler 21

I watch the Snowdevils take on the Vipers last week, and the Vipers move the ball on them. The Vipers look bad with a lot of penalties too, and was still able to move the ball. I think the Vipers were inside the 20 with out points and inside the 5 yard line without points. The 13-3 score could of been worse. So endless their were alot of players missing because it was a preseason game I have the Mustangs winning this. I'm hoping the snowdevils are missing dudes because I have them winning the north side of AAA.

The Snowdevils for the most part had most of their starters...
nobody was missing that would have mad a significant difference...the score was 13-3 but that doesn't really show how the Snowdevils were held without points in the red zone on 2 or 3 occasions...this game was way closer than the score shows and easily could have ended 6-3...best of luck to all the guys on GV they are a good team and I think that they will win against the mustangs and take the North side as well...as far as my Vipers go we definitely need to clean up the stupid penalties if we want to have a competitive game against the Lionz this week...but seeing how it isn't against a team I consider somewhat a rival stemming from last year in GV I think we can go down their and play a good game if we cut down the bone headed penalties...Vipers#13
