What happened Mustangs? I picked the Stangs last week for an upset, but it turns out that the Stangs aren’t that bad.It turns out that I underestimated the Mustangs and they were able to hang with the best of em. (Best in the North at least) Now the Mustangs host a Stealth team that is known not to travel well, but also a Stealth team who traveled far enough to eliminate and fold the Montana Blaze last season. Good news for the Mustangs, at least they are at home. Bad news for the Mustangs--- it’s only a few hours away for the Stealth. Wissler didn’t miss a beat as he was able to utilize Kendrick and Colton. If these two can stay true 1-2 WR’s the Stealth should be in good shape and stay atop of the rankings this week. The Mustangs had a chance to prove to me they were one of the top teams in the North last week—they might be. But I have the Stealth this week.

Sting @ Cobras
The Cobraducks defense is pretty decent—well the front 7. Playing man press coverage in the AA or against lesser competition is feasible, but against the top tier WRs in this league is a recipe for disaster. If their secondary doesn’t get better, CP and Wiss may rewrite some nonexistent history books in the near future. Their QB is an athlete, but their O-line has to get better. Bottom line, the little league offense isn’t going to work. However--- this option rushing attack on the other side of the ball promises for some hard-hitting old school football. Something tells me my old veer-oriented high school coach is happy people are still running these offenses. The Sting can move the ball on the ground. Their collection of ball carriers can make any defense off-balance. However, the ability to move the ball in the air is key. If your starting QB is throwing the ball three times and two times is completed to the other team--- well, at least we’ll have a hard-hitting football game right?
I think it’s going to be a good game, but something tells me #4 gets more reps, and #16 is going to realize his best attribute to this team is to be catching balls, not throwing them. The Sting defense is more complete than the Cobraducks, and for that I have the Sting.

Vipers @ Anarchy.
The Vipers got a rude awakening last week as they were welcomed to the AAA by the Lions. The only problem I see is that it literally took most of the Viper players almost the whole offseason to get over the fact that they were “champs” of the RMFL, it’s probably going to take them all season to realize that they are no longer playing the Guardians, Warriors, Diggers… (no offense). The Vipers need to realize they are no longer the big fish in the pond. They are just fish--- in a shark infested ocean. The sooner the players realize that, the sooner they can get ready to compete and play some football. Rex knows what it takes to compete in the AAA--- but does his players?
No one knows much about the Anarchy, but everything I’ve heard is, they aren’t as good as last year. Well – last year they won the Idaho division of the AAA, and when they are at home, they are a lot better than when they are on the road. I can’t really figure them out---and for that I won’t try. My gut says Vipers—my fingers are going to type Anarchy.

Matadors @ Loco Express
The Dors have been fairly quiet this offseason as well. So again—I don’t know much. But to have an extra week to prepare is always a good thing. I loved having an opening week bye. It kind of clears a little smoke on some of the teams. It lets some of the expectations come down and it gives you a glimpse of some teams.
The Loco Express squeaked one by the Gladiators who are obviously better than what anyone expected. Was the demise of the Blaze better for the Gladiators than the demise of the Bullets to the Loco Express? Well---I’ll let you decide. I do think the Loco Express have the upper edge playing in Laurel, and like all other Idaho teams—I don’t know **** about ****. Are they going to bleep that? Oh well—

Gladiators @ Snow Devils
I don’t know why I picked against the Snow Devils last week--- Maybe it was because I was disappointed in the way they looked against the Vipers. Maybe it was because that game literally put me to sleep. Maybe it was because I let myself believe some hype that I made up in my mind so bad, I just thought it was just that--- hype. Well, they proved me wrong and they won. High five for that. The Gladiators battled it out with the Loco Express until that last whistle and sometimes games like that just physically and mentally drain you. Two travel games is rough for anyone, but for a Montana team is even extra draining. Don’t let me down---

Shock @ Bulldawgs
The best part about the RMFL is that we just have to sit on Twitter or Facebook and just look at the updates that pop up. I saw the Bulldawgs losing and I kind of expected it. Well--- Hooper texted me and told me they dropped 30+ and won the game. I’m not going to lie, it had be kind of worried. I started watching old film, started doing some research. But hey, what else am I to do. Impressive win by the Bulldawgs and trust me the Shock took notice. The Shock already matched their win total from last year so there’s an accomplishment in itself. The addition of Thomas has already paid it’s dues and he may very well be the missing link that the Shock have always needed. The defense was never tested last week and the offense struggled in the second half. In order to be successful in this league, they have to play as a whole for 4 quarters. If they don’t, they’ll be playing at Weber St at the end of June… And they’ll be the first back to back Toilet Bowl Champs.
Dawgs are at home---however the Shock play their best on long road trips.
Shock 35 Bulldawgs 14
Revolution @ Lionz *** Game of the week, month, season… whatever
I really wanted to write a decent summary about this game--- but after two games, the Lions still haven’t posted any stats so I can’t drop too many factual numbers on you. However, the big surprise has to be what Misi Tupe has done through the air, although it has been against lesser competition, anyone who puts up those numbers has obviously worked on his passing game. Losing Remo hurt their running game, but Sione and Co. are still going to be able to handle the load. Roberts, Feula and Thompson are doing what they do on defense and this team has glimpses of the 2011 Dixie Rebels team. (My personal opinion has one of the Top 5 teams to EVER play in the RMFL)
The thing is--- The Rev--- well they got better too! IK is finding his rhythm in the offense, Lang, Etuati, Mapson are as dangerous as ever. And as long as Chuckypita gets his few seconds to throw, this offense could be one of the best---ever. But I’m going to stop right there with the REV offense, we know they are good. They’ve been good every year since they’ve joined the league. The thing about the Rev is their vast improvement on defense. The defense has always been good, yet for some reason always underrated. Solo, Levine, Mapu and Angel have anchored this defense for the past few years, and to be quite honest, they don’t get the credit they deserve. This defense is the best defense in the league… and until someone proves otherwise, defense still win championships.
Oh—where was I going with all of this… HAROLD IS BACK! HAROLD IS BACK! AGELESS HAROLD RAGIN IS BACK! When you have the best defense and then you add arguably the best athlete to ever play in this league on that defense…well…. WELL! Do you know tough that front seven of the Rev is? Do you know how tough they are when they have the secondary that they do now? Yeah---
Lions are good—Misi is better (is that even possible?)—I just can’t pick against the champs.

Respect? Like a 10 AM kickoff with promised locker rooms that weren't opened until after our team was dressed? We don't care about locker rooms, just don't tell us you'll have them if they're going to be opened after my team is dressed.
Nah-- you know what. I'm not even mad about that. No sour grapes here-- I'm just fortunate we still have football fields to play on.
But since you're so sour-- when did Wager throw a pick last week? Nice write up. We fumbled the ball? You use an old write up? Nah-- probably MPC's fault.
How bout getting your roster turned in before your first game, not after your second. How about getting stats turned in for week 1 before week 2.
I'm not sure you have all your facts straight but it doesn't matter. IF all that stuff is/were true than I'll take that criticism as the GM/Owner of this team. NO PROBLEM! My post is in regards to the men on my team and my teammates. I keep it football and make sure my guys keep it football. I never get personal with ANYONE. I just ask for the same in return.
Sorry to disappoint you, Kicker. Nothing to see here really.

Thats what you say Jaye. I have the ability (with or without the help) of others to INDEED make something to see here. The question is... since I am not even playing right now...do I care to?
Nah.... Not right now..... NEXT!

I'm never "sour" after a game, kid...WIN OR LOSE! This has nothing to do with the game, kid. I was over that like 5 minutes after it ended like I always am.
I won't go into it all that other petty stuff because it's not that serious and who cares?
Like i said, these are grown men you're talking about. Respect that and keep it classy. I get that you have to have the cute / witty little "internet comedy" stuff and all that. I'm ok with it......just make sure that guys don't take it personal. Some guys like you enough to let that fly. I like you but not at the expense of your jokes towards my teammates. I could care less about the FOOTBALL stuff and what you say but I'll always ride for my guys as you would do the same for yours.
Take that as you want and process it as you want. All i asked is to get our name right as we ALL take pride in playing for this team as you do yours. It was unnecessary and disrespectful. Especially if you are trying to give a legit analysis. We aren't the Mudd Ducks and maybe they accepted that sort of thing in regards to the stuff that was said about them. I don't appreciate it. Criticize us if you want. Just make sure that we ALL remember that we are grown men.
And clean your own house before you step in mine. Nothing but respect but it has to be mutual. Good luck this week.
First off, I don't have to do anything. The league doesn't pay me to write the write ups. I don't work for the league. Who took what I said personal? If you take what I say on my weekly predictions or rankings personal, you have way bigger problems "kid".
I could get your name right, but I don't want to. Why? Because I'm sick of seeing teams like the Desperados come and go, the Mudducks come and go. All these teams who are supposed to be awesome contributions to the league, but just come and go. I don't owe YOU anything. Whether what I say is necessary or disrespectful doesn't matter! It's an opinion! I CHOOSE TO TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE THOSE UP. JUST LIKE YOU CHOOSE TO READ IT! I get the satisfaction of writing something up that people choose to read and take it for what it's worth. I'm not here to be the next Peter King of the RMFL. Legit analysis? Really? REALLY?! Maybe I'm the bad seed in the group. Maybe I'm the guy who's been around 12 years who's made this league step backwards in recent years. If so, feel free to vote me right on out of here.
As for cleaning my own house, please tell me what is dirty about my house. Don't be vague, I'm not one to hide from anything.
Don't call me, don't text me, don't email me.
I'll just do what was done a long time ago. I just won't write anything on insignificant teams.
Sorry Rozy. Sorry Tyler.

Bryce, that's a hell of a beard...and we all know why!! You injured? Retired? Coming up to be guest commentator for Podcast in Jerome? I'd love to see your beard in person, maybe run my fingers through it...
hahaha It was much longer then the picture shows, unfortunately I had to do what I had to do and shave that glorious thing off. I miss it like a fat kid misses corn dogs though....
