There is a reason the title says "an ignorant guy", I am posting this before the week 2 write-ups come out. I am going purely on scores and what little I know about each team.
So lets get this thing going. I don't care if you don't agree with what I say, I post these to get people talking. You can pick apart my picks if you want, but lets get some discussion going on this thing!!
AAA
Revolution @ Loco Express
The Rev let me down last week with the loss to the Improved Lions. I know both teams had made improvements, but I thought the Rev had made more improvements than the Lions. Anyways, I'm sure that was an epic game, and anyone would have loved to have see that one. Losing to the Lions makes you no less of a POWER TEAM though. The Rev are a very tough team, and I think the rest of the season will be on a mission to prove that, in hopes of getting another championship re-match with the Lions.
The Express are a good team, judging by scores this far in the season (2 weeks) they are, not only the best in Montana, but the best team in the Norther Conference. We will see how that goes the rest of the season. They still have some tough teams to play in the North, as well as the REV this week. Its going to be too hard to pick against the REV on this one, they are just too strong of a team, even with the long drive.
Rev 27 - Locos 14
Vipers @ Shock
The Vipers went up to Blackfoot and beat the Anarchy. The Anarchy are generally a tough team especially at home. It seems that the Vipers have finally overcome the high they were on for wining the AA 'ship last year.
The Shock are showing this year that they are NOT going to repeat last year. So far they have had 2 VERY convincing wins over teams that are NOT new to the AAA. It will be tough to pick against the Shock on this one. They are at home, and are on a mission this year.
Shock 35 - Vipers 14
Stampede @ Matadors
The Stampede lost pretty handily in week 1 vs the REV, then had a bye. It is my personal opinion that the REV just got that much better, not that the Stampede got that much worse. The Stampede are the quint essential middle-of-the-pack AAA team.
The Matadors really struggled vs the Locos last week. Maybe they didn't travel well, maybe they lost some talent to the ICFL, maybe Old Man Bennet played QB. The Locos are a good team, the 'Dors are generally a good team that can surprise anyone, especially when they forfeit a playoff game. But that is in the past. I gotta take the Stampede in this one, purely based on the 'Dors score last week.
Stampede 21 - Matadors 19
Bulldawgs @ Gladiators
The Buldawgs have a great organization, and usually travel pretty well, at least from what I've seen. They have some well known names on the roster, which unfortunately didn't help them at home last week vs the Shock.
The Gladiators have shown us they are a MUCH better team than last year. As many of you saw last week, I was unsure if the Locos got worse, or the Glads got better. The Glads got better. As much as I want the Bulldawgs to take home the W, I think the home team takes it this week.
Bulldawgs 14 - Gladiators 21
Anarchy @ Mustangs
The Anarchy have traditionally been a pretty good AAA team. They won their division last year, but this year they have started off pretty flat. Apparently they lost some players this year. They are still always going to be a hard-hitting tough team to play. They don't have a long drive this week (20 minutes from their home field, except most of their team actually lives in Idaho Falls). They are playing their rivals this week, so it will be a tough game either way.
The Mustangs won last week vs the Stealth. No one really had the Mustangs winning, even though it is a well-known fact that the Stealth don't travel well. So with that known, do the Stealth still get to use the 'didn't travel well excuse'? I don't know, and I don't care, all I know is the Mustangs get to put 1 in the W column. This should be a very hard-hitting game, that could come down to the wire...
AA
Warriors @ Outlawz
To me this game comes down to who is at home. They are matched up pretty equally in my book, and I think the home team takes it just for not having to travel.
Warriors 3 - Outlawz 7
Oilers @ Diggers
The Diggers beat the Outlawz in Wyoming last week, with a similar score that the Oilers beat them in Vernal. Do I smell an upset? Can the Diggers get back into my good graces?? I will pick the Diggers in this one. If they upset me again I don't know what I will do!!
Oilers 12 - Diggers 14
P.S. did anyone listen to the Podcast? It starts raining and people start screaming BLOODY MURDER!

Ummm if you were there to see the rain/hail/Psunami roll in at the game in Jerome...you might have started screaming blooding murder too... ONLY problem is, it was most definitely their fans...because Both our teams have been through that exact scenario before I am sure... and we barely made a peep other then the clacking of our teeth from shivering so damn hard.
Also no way it was our fans...we had like 5 of them there. HAHAHA About half of what we get to our home games.
