I came across this story this morning and I think that as a league we should get behind it and help out this little girl. It seems like they need about $3000 to make their goal. There are 20 teams in the league so that is only about $150 per team, if everyone participates. That's like $4 or $5 per player. Can we put our heads together and get this money for this little girl. Most of have children and should be able to relate to this story.
What do we think?
For the teams that are willing to participate, can we try to have the money by Monday. I will talk to Brad and see if we can collect it via the RMFL and submit it all at once.
Any other ideas/options would be more than welcome.
I've got $20 on it and I'll volunteer to collect from Shock and Lions players wishing to donate this weekend. I just need to know who to give the money to.
This is the community involvement that we need at the league level and Jaye's statement is valid... most of us have little ones and can relate.

Player... just a player. Hallelujah, I'M ONLY A PLAYER!!
We will give GMs the US Bank account # and our paypal account # (in case anyone wants to pay online). The deadline will be Monday night and we will make one donation from the RMFL on Tuesday. Great idea Jaye, thanks for bringing this to us!
So can I have all the GMS collect ANY money that their guys are willing to donate at their games on Saturday? Please, get the money into the league bank account OR PayPal account by Monday evening. We can make the deposit on Tuesday morning. AND THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT IS WILLING TO HELP OUT!
Just deposit into the league account? Shouldn't it be labeled? Not that I don't trust the league, I just want it clear that the money goes to Karmyn. To avoid mistakes.
Trent is watching for deposits. It's not like we have money randomly coming into the bank account most days. But if teams will let me know when they deposit funds and the amounts, we can be sure it gets to Karmyn.
