Revolution has been a team on a mission after their loss to the Lions. I don’t see any issues for the Rev as everything is starting to click for them. This week they get to fine tune their game as they prepare for the showdown against the Shock next week. CP17 will be doing yardwork in the 2nd half at home, and the REV cruise this week.

Stampede @ Lions
The Stampede lost a heartbreaker at home last week and now has to travel down to St. George. I’m jealous because I’d love to be golfing down in Dixie this weekend. And if I was the Stampede, I’d make reservations for a few rounds of golf because it’s going to be a quick one at the Sun Bowl. Misi Tupe is a monster amongst boys as he continues his tear through the league. Cruise control—set.

Stealth @ Shock
The Shock and the Stealth are coming off losses to the other big two teams in the AAA. The Shock has to regain confidence as they shift their focus on the Stealth. The Stealth need a victory as other teams in the division could pass by them due to the schedule strength. How is it that the team who won a division last year was able to skate by playing 3 of the Power 4 but the Power 4 all had to play each other? If the Stealth doesn’t win here, they risk the chance of being on the outside looking in. On the other hand, the Shock can’t afford a loss either. Bowl games are fun, but playing for the ship is more fun.

Sting @ Vipers
The Vipers get overlooked because of their freshness in the AAA. I don’t expect this game to be high scoring as both offenses combined have scored less than the teams ahead of them in the standings. It will be a defensive barnburner but if the Vipers can utilize Sherwood and Smart effectively, the Sting may just have to second guess themselves. Thurber was throwing the ball like Brett Favre in the videos I saw last week, so maybe the retirement ceremony made him bust out his old moves.

Matadors @ Bulldawgs
The Bulldawgs finally realized how bad their 3-4 defense was and switched it up. After a week of fine tuning, it paid off last week in a big win. They play host to a team that is has never been this lost. I remember when the Dors forfeited their second tier playoff spot—“We don’t play for 7th place.” Well—what are you playing for now? Find some sense of pride—steal this game away.

Gladiators @ Anarchy
The thing is home field advantage does exist in this league. It exists when you are up in Montana and it exists down in St. George. When you lose a game at home, it truly can be a momentum shift for the worse. The Gladiators let the Sting steal one away and now they have to travel to Anarchy team who may finally have found a groove.
I think the Gladiators rely too much on their QB, but their defense is key to each game. I don’t see the travel being too brutal, but you never know.

Snow Devils @ Loco Express
I thought this game was going to decide who was going to be number one in the Northern Division, instead this may be the preview of the game of who might have to travel to Utah for a semi-final game in St. George! I find it funny that the league thought it would be detrimental if Montana had to travel to St. George or vice versa, well, it’s gonna happen anyways.
Laurel decided Jurasek was the answer then lost. The Snowdevils got caught up with the RMFL Gameday shenanigans and forgot to just play ball.
The Snowdevils are fighting for their lives right now and Laurel is doing everything they can to prove they are still the best in Montana.
