Week 9 - Tribute to The Follower??? -- The other predictions that matter...

Revolution @ Sting

Big game this week for both teams – Sting win and they get the #2 seed and host the Rev. Sting lose by 9 or more and they travel to the Lions and avenge their loss that they let slip away.

The Rev want to secure a #2 seed here, people were sending me texts asking if the Rev wanted to blow the game so they could not host and save some money. Well, I don’t think the Rev knows how to lose on purpose, plus with how the North has played out and anyone can beat anyone, you have a chance (although slight) that you could host as a #2 seed if a 3 and 4 happen to win in the North in the first round. All gas no brakes right?

The Sting feel slighted by me—the fact that when anyone talks “Power 4” they aren’t included makes them mad. Well, since the Stealth are probably gonna fold…

All I know is this is going to be a good game and I’ll  be watching because it obviously has implications on what I do next week. For now, I can’t pick against my bros.

Stealth @ Stampede

The Stampede put in some work and secured a bowl game chance next week. The Stealth are just trying to close out the season. Neither team really has anything to play for and these games tend to usually be pretty fun. Mike Jenkins is playing top notch and if he shows up, the Wiss vs Jenkins battle could be one for the ages.

Anarchy @ Matadors

Wait--- so if I looked at this correctly, there is a chance that the Anarchy can get the #2 seed if the Stangs lose? And there’s a chance that the Anarchy could win the first round then have to travel to St. George? Well--- I already think it’s ridiculous that they are even eligible for post season play.

I like how the Dors are actually finishing this season out. They are fighting until the end and hats off to those who pulled off the victory last weekend. Keep that momentum going and finish strong.

Bulldawgs @ Mustangs

Dawgs win and they are in, lose and if the Glads win, they are out. Stangs are trying to recover from a rough couple of games. They went from the top seed to possibly not even hosting in the first round. What in the hell happened? As I said earlier, I think anything can happen in the North, but I just don’t think Aslett can carry the team like Verwey did.

Snow Devils @ Gladiators

So much promise from both teams and now they are in a situation to just survive. These teams had high hopes of playing at Weber St for the ship, now the chances are slim for that. However, that bowl game would be fun to play in. I flipped a coin--- Glads at home.

Warriors @ Diggers

It is critical for the Warriors to secure home field. With the top 3 teams being so spread apart, any team at home is still dangerous. The Diggers need a win after coming off a loss last week. If there was a ever a trap game, this would be it. I’m just hoping the Warriors stay focused on the AA trophy and not worried about seeing if they can compete with AAA. Control the task at hand, the jump from AA to AAA is big, especially against the top dawgs. Just ask the Vipers.

Guardians @ Outlawz

Realistically--- anything can happen. And with the 5 team league, a playoff berth is still a playoff berth. Who wants it?
