Fun fact: The Mustang are the only Idaho team left in the RMFL who's team, or name, has players currently on a team that was once ran by different owners, who hasn't forfeited. So to be lumped in with the rest of the group shouldn't be a surprise to many--- if any.
(Guardians - last week, Diggers - last year, Matadors - last year, Anarchy - earlier this year, Bulldawgs - 2005--they then got new owners and reapplied, but you all get the point)
With the future of the RMFL always in question, with people throwing out ideas that has been seen, heard and ignored since 2004, people who have been here for a year, two, three, are trying to fix this league repeating ideas that was ignored at some point--- let's get to the game.
Mustangs and the Lions are on two different levels, but that's why we play the game.
The Lions will win, by a lot. I don't know much about the Mustangs, I just don't know the difference between the two conferences.
I firmly believe that even if Misi sat this game out --- The Lions win.
Lions 42 Mustangs 13
Loco Express vs Rev
I remember earlier this year when these two teams played, the Loco Express was up on the Rev early, but then the Rev got it going. The Rev are on fire and trust me, my whole RMFL career came flashing before my eyes last week. The most impressive thing about these guys isn't just their defense (I'm a defense guy), but the fact that Mapson and Eteuati catches most of their balls under 8 yards and can turn every catch into a big play makes them so dangerous. The best WRs in this league are able to make short passes--- become big plays.
The combination of those two plus the dominating defense will be too much.
I was just thinking about that the other day. We are the only Idaho team that hasn't forfeit. Oh well, we will keep doing our thing. I'm excited to see what it's like to play a Big 3 team this week.
I don't know who told you that rumor, but I think someone is trying to stir the pot is all. We are not going to forfeit this week. If we were, I would know about it because I would be in on that decision making process.
My prediction, 17 guys make the trip to St George (Would be 21 but hey its fathers day weekend). That's only about 34 guys short of enough to rotate, stay fresh and actually compete in that heat, against that team! I agree with Kyto, Misi could take the night off and the Lions would still hang 30+ on you guys. Hell even if you forfeit, the whole league sees it coming, and sadly from a strictly player standpoint....with you guys NOT being able to even compete against that team in those conditions... the "players" of the league wouldn't even blame you. But from a GM/Owner and overall League standpoint.... a forfeit would be absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!! Either way though...St George keeps it in cruise control and prepares for a battle at Weber State on the 27th.
Rev- Doesn't matter, Loco's - Matters only cause it will be a loss and end of season!
P.s Hoping all teams travel safe on this holiday weekend.

Why does everyone think we are going to forfeit, we actually have great owners and management and know how much of am inconvenience it is for a team to not show up with all the money spent on field rentals
