Is this something that guys feel we should do again next year? Could we do a neutral site anywhere outside of Utah?
I just want to say that, in my opinion, Saturday was a GREAT day for the RMFL. I loved to be able to watch all of the games in one place and see / meet some guys that I may not meet otherwise. BUT the heat was BRUTAL. I think we had some great, very competitive games.
The Vipers/SnowDevils game was a really good game (besides the score). !!!!!CONGRATS VIPERS AND REX!!!!!
The AA Championship was a good game with evenly matched teams but shows the difference between the divisions. !!!!!CONGRATS DIGGERS!!!!!
The All-Star game had at least 25 guys on each sideline and was competitive. I liked that guys "cared" but still seem to have a GREAT time. !!!!!CONGRATS BRAD'S TEAM!!!!!
The AAA Championship was definitely made up of the top 2 teams in our league. Regardless of outcome, it would have been earned. !!!!!CONGRATS REV!!!!!
Thanks to the RMFL staff for putting this together. I know you don't get enough love and respect for what you do. It's hard just to put on a single game for the Utah Cobras so I can only imagine the work it took you guys to make this happen. MUCH APPRECIATED!
Imo if they want to continue putting on a "showcase" in that venue. The bowl game participants should be voted upon or selected by teams that lost in the AAA playoffs. It is my opinion only but I'm thinking most will agree that (and im being bluntly honest) 50% of the games that happened Saturday weren't worth watching and didnt entice me away from family obligations. I haven't put any thought into just how the participating teams would be selected. Just throwing out my two cents. All in All though, the theory behind it is Solid!!!!

i though it was cool to have everyone in the same place. I think it gives some legitimacy to the league, in a small way. It was nice to have a decent locker room to squeeze my fat ass into those tight pants in.
I'm like Kicker, though, and a lot of other people (obviously, since attendance didn't seem super awesome) in that I wasn't much intrigued to go to any of the other games. Partly because of the heat but I've also got 4 kids and a wife that is supportive of me playing but maybe not going to watch you other losers.
I'd like to see it stay in Utah. No offense, but it's more likely that the top rated team in at least the AAA Championship will be from Utah. Seems to have been all-Utah championships over the past several years, too.
We really need to find a sponsor for that event. The Less Schwab RMFL Showcase or something. It would help give it more legitimacy. I missed the AAA game so I don't know how the turn out was. But for the 3 prior games, attendence was sub par. That may be due to the scorching heat and the talent level of the games. But a showcase needs to be a spectacle. I would like to suggest the Holt Arena for next year's showcase. Keep the weather out of it. The Holt plays great hosts to football games. Obviously Poka-fellow isn't as appealing to the eye as Ogden. But it is a somewhat central location that can host such event. And not too many people get to play a game in doors, so that would make it more appealing. And I thought the trophys looked cheap and retro (in a bad way).
