Travel game for the Sting, Sting come off a close and maybe even a little controversial loss to the Shock. The Sting offense was much better with Wager back up to his average and Messenger and Rees doing their thing.
The Raiders were run over by the Vipers 20-0. I don't see the Raiders slowing down the Sting either assuming the Sting travel well, which they always seem to do. I see the Sting running over the smaller Raiders, much like the Shock and Vipers did.
Sting 28 Raiders 0
*Shock (2-0) @ Trojans (2-0) (GOTW)
Travel game for Shock, Shock should have put away the Sting last week, but had a hard time finishing them. Shock have been well balanced Offensivey. Wissler has been nearly flawless with 6 TDs and 0 Int. The running game is effective and the receivers are very good. The Defense has been good, but needs to be be more disciplined on snap counts.
I'm still not sure about the Trojans, They beat the Rev in a sloppy game, then barely beat the Hawks 7-0. Wins are wins and maybe they play to the competiton, but it isn't that easy to turn it on and off. QB needs to throw the ball better or defenses will stack the box to stop the running game which has been pretty good. The Defense has been good and will put pressure on Wissler.
Assuming Shock travel with their core players, I'm betting on the consistency of the Shock offense, but it could go either way.
Shock 20 Trojans 17
Vipers (1-0) @ Rev (1-1)
No Travel, This could be an interesting game. Vipers got the 1st game jitters out with a 20-0 win and Rev cleaned up some of the problems they had in their first game winning 31-22 over a feisty Wildcat team. Rev still aren't hitting on all cylinders, but CP did get his completion percentage back up, that will turn into points with his receivers.
Sherwood is a dual threat QB, he is most dangerous when he scrambles although he will need to complete more than 25% of his passes if the Vipers hope to beat the Rev. The defense looked good against the Raiders, but it was the Raiders.
Rev 34 Vipers 21
Hawks (0-2) @ Lions (0-1)
Lions coming off a bye week and having to stew over the upset loss to the Sting. If there is ever a week an 0-2 team wouldn't want to play the Lions, this may be the week. We still don't know the identity of the Lions this year, but I'm assuming they are going to go back to what has worked for them in the last 3 years, running the ball down your throat and passing when the defense stacks the box. Misi ran the offense to near perfection last year, I don't understand why they tried to go away from it.
The Hawks have shown the ability to stay in games, but can't find a way to win. This week will be different, they won't be able to stay in it. Lions won't turn the ball over 5 times and they will want to show the Sting game was an aberration.
I believe if I am not mistaken, the Lions are trying to establish a full time replacement at QB for the mere fact that Misi is not a guarantee to make some of the games. They need to have a comfortable option to use. We'll see how the season plays out. I know I and many more are not counting them out.

I'm not counting the Lions out either, I'd bet you right now they will end the season somewhere in the top 4. The loss to the Sting hurts, especially since it was at home. To get into the top four they will need move ahead of Shock, Trojans, Rev, or Sting. Winner of the Trojan/Shock game this week is in the catbird seat. Should be an interesting weekend.
Let me choke this down and get it out...Let's go Shock! If you need any more scouting reports on the Trojans, hit me up. I had a good chat with Grampa Wissler last night.
