Last long travel game for the Rev. Rev are starting to hit on all cylinders, CP hit 78% of his passes and looked good spreading the ball around. Passing game is Rev strength, but Rev should be able to work on running game against the Hawks.
Hawks are in need of a victory of some kind, even if it is only a moral victory. Hawks are pretty average in both passing and running game and their Defense was just run over the Lions offense.
Assuming the game will be played, it looks like the field has finally been secured, Rev should be able to handle the Hawks
Rev 34 - Hawks 14
Shock(2-1) @ Wildcats(1-1)
Shock took a beating last week by a very agressive Trojan defense, losing 7 turnovers. This week we will see if the Shock can bounce back against another physical defense in the Wildcats. The Shock Defense played much better last weekend, but the offense was out of sorts. They will be happy to be back in Utah and have their whole team.
Wildcats are coming off a bye after losing in a competitive game to the Rev in Week 2. Hernadez will need to complete more than 33% of his passes for the Wildcats to win. We will see if the week off helps with game plan and health. Wildcats are better than I thought thought they would be. They are physical and work hard.
Shock have a little more talent and if they didn't get too beat up last week should be able to win in a close game. Plus they won't turn the ball over 7 times.
Shock 28 - Wildcats 21
*Lions(1-1) @ Vipers(1-1) - Game of the Week
This will be an interesting game because the Lions will get their first northern trip and the Vipers just got destroyed by the Rev. We will see if the Lions travel well and if the Vipers just had a bad week. It will be a long game for the Vipers if Sherwood is the leading rusher again.
Lions looked much better in big win in Vegas against Hawks, Josh Ford looked like a Misi clone with a higher completion percentage and amassed 290 yards of total offense. It looks like the week off really helped. Which Ford will show up?
I'm taking the Lions in this one, assuming Week 3 Ford shows up.
Lions 31 - Vipers 17
Raiders(0-3) @ Trojans(3-0)
The Trojans have earned the #1 ranking with a Shock and Awe defense that is very good. Giving the offense turnover after turnover, 7 last week. The offense hasn't quite figured it out yet, if they do the Trojans will be very good. Cammack has a strong arm and is fast, but for some reason they just can't move the ball consistently.
The Raiders gave the Sting a good game, and may be getting better, but the Trojans are not the team you want to have to get better against.
I think the Trojans get the offense going this week. I've picked against the Trojans twice, not this week.
