The last time these guys played it was a one possession game in the end. I think this one is just as close and the game being in Uintah helps. the Cobras need to travel to the oil fields deep to not get worn down in this one. The oilers have the Cobras this week and the Gladiators next week. Can they play giant killer the next two weeks and throw the whole North for a loop? I think they start here and get going strong rolling into SASA. The Cobras play well but fall just short.
Cobras 20 - Oilers 26
Outlaws @ Anarchy
Man I thought I heard crazy news from Montana about the Anarchy pulling it off but I guess it was just close. Good for these guys for showing so well on he road across state lines. Now they have some one coming to them and they are very much still in the playoff hunt even after this last loss. The Outlaws have not traveled very well so far and I don't see that changing this week on this trip. Blackfooot is a long drive for them and they can think the whole way home about their last few games.
Outlaws 6 - Anarchy 25
Diggers @ Stampede***Game Of The Week***
Travel seems to me what will make this one good. Logan is tough at home for anybody, big bodies and full sideline usually. Diggers are coming into this one on one of their best seasons in recent memory. Last year wasn't against competition like this though so props to them so far. This one could go either way and be a major swing for playoff spots. If my above mention prediction is anywhere near correct, and the Stampede can stave off the Digger onslaught then the "Idaho" division become a big muddle with the top 3 teams all having 2 losses.
Diggers 20 - Stampede 24
Avalanche @ Monsters
A close game but nobody saw it. A game so far North it's almost in Canada, and people there would rather watch a girls basketball game, little kids playing soccer and paint drying at the Home Depot.
Avalanche 12 - Monsters 25
Xtreme @ Gladiators
Almost went with thisas the GOTW, but I stand by my choice above. Still this seems to make up for a tight and hard faught matchup. They met in Week 1 like a lot of other mashups this weekend. Two really good teams in this part of the league and both seem destined for the playoffs. I'm not sure who has this one in the end but the first one wasclose until the end when a couple scores made it seem like a bigger deficit. I'll go with history and say the Gladiators take the home game by a score or two.
