Where have all THOSE PEOPLE of the RMFL gone? The ones that was my enemy between the goal lines, but drank a beer with me after.
I have SO many FRIENDS in the RMFL, because all those FRIENDS were the ones who took what I said with a grain of salt. Who wasn't easily offended when I said, "hey, you suck!".
I love football and most importantly I love the RMFL. But seriously, some of you guys make me wonder, where the good times have gone.
At the end of the day, the RMFL is still 3 hours on a Saturday from April-June. That's it. I don't care what you do after that... But if this becomes your world, and trust me, it was MY WORLD at one point, you'll be able to enjoy what the RMFL is TRULY about.
I'll keep being me, and to those who enjoy that, that is WHY we will ALWAYS be FRIENDS for long after this league, or the next, or any other league will ever be around.

Pink Panther caused me alot of grief with my wife (GF at the time). That period of time, can seriously NEVER come back! Besides, I think Pinky died...in a tragic Water drinking incident in Lake Tahoe... CEMENT BOOTS FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!

I was driving through Utah during spring break, and we were north of Provo on all that construction and that I may say is a death trap. Their was a 8 car pile up we just missed and after talking to some people they say that stuff is a normal occurring thing on I-15.
How the hell do you people down there accept that type of stuff?
And why does a sign in Utah that reads " 55 MPH fines double for speeding" mean go 75 in a construction zone with 3 lanes that are not wide enough for 3 cars.
And I loved that stretch of road south of Provo that is 80mph. But to Utahans that means 90 mph. Did your state legislature say " freek man.. no one goes 75 on the freeway, lets just raise the speed limit and then they wont break the law.."
How was the drive through Idaho Kyto? Did you notice that people actually drive the speed limit? Did you see an accidents on the freeway. Doubt it.
But don't worry the tickets in Idaho are only like 60 bucks.

As much fun as I am having with Logan...I still miss the Gladiators terribly. Unfortunately, only one or two players on the current roster were around when I took over the team and had back-to-back seasons of 1-7 and 2-6 soooo long ago. I hope the players are patient and band together this year. I've been very impressed that we HAVEN'T heard them on the board.
Playing for a new team in a new division this year, I've already made a bunch of new friends--but the experience is still the same. Whether it's crowding into a Dogde Neon with 3 other guys I've never met to drive 3 hours to Jerome for the Jamboree (our football gear on our laps because of the huge speaker box in the trunk), watching the faces of the surprised people in Roosevelt trying to decide whether the 15 guys getting out of the van were CIA or Mafia, or even spending Saturday night in Wendover on the way home from Elko watching some of my teammates get drunk, lose money, and generally make a fool of themselves in front of whatever woman might be passing by--it's still about two things--the game and the friends. It's really not any more complicated than that, and I love every minute of it (much to my wife's dismay, but luckily I have other redeeming qualities).
While everyone else in heaven is seeking out historically famous people to chat with and trying to find out the mysteries of the world like where Jimmy Hoffa is buried, etc. I will be in the RMFL Anonymous Message Board Personalities corner FINALLY finding out who people like The Follower and The Messiah are--can't wait.
Maybe I'm removed from the inner-comedy circuit but saying someone ain't sh*t and another's a douche doesn't come off as a joke...but I probably took it out of context...
Good luck on your fundraiser, I hope you have the success you're looking for...although it comes across as a conflict in that it's soley based on YOUR success...a better way would've been to put up $$$ (albeit less) for the success of your TEAM and TEAMMATES...I mean are you going to complain when your QB throws it to someone else??? Are you going to pull the "I'm trying to raise money for Grandma but can't cuz you won't throw it to me..." card???

I would never have that mentality towards it. Ever. But I do see what you're saying and will add to it for team wins. I just based it off myself in thought of asking for people to match my person contribution may be easier to commit to over what a team did. I'm all for what the team needs to win. I was told "we'll get you on that deep ball." my response, "I'm not worried about it. Run it to open up whatever we can get.". I don't need the ball for us to win. Do I want it? Sure! But we are here for only one thing this year. All I worry about.
Oh hoop you prove my weak point... I miss the boards and chat like most everyone else. I would love to see kyto and some of the other aaa vets rip apart the tim taylors if the world. But it never happens anymore. Everything has gotten too serious. Any post is scrutinized like crazy... Everyone just needs to lighten it up and take it easy. I play football for fun and used to come to this site to see how everyone else that dedicated their saturdays to this were up too. But now it is almost all negative for no reason. Chill out talk a little good natured trash and have a great game saturday. Stay healthy and stay classy...
