Week 4 Rankings

After some great Week 3 games there has been a little shake up in the rankings..

1- Shock 2-0

The Shock looked unstoppable in their route against the Stealth last week, now they face the Mudducks before a BIG showdown with the current #2 in two weeks…

2-Spartans 3-0

The only 3-0 team in the AAA and have achieved that status against three teams who made the playoffs last season.  Impressive so far, but now have to face an opponent that may be the most formidable so far…the road

3-Rebels 2-1

Bounced back after their week 2 loss, on the road, against an impressive Revolution club.  The strongest point made in the game was the fact that without Diarra Fields, this Rebels team made be a mid-tier club…

4-Revolution 1-1

Although they lost, they move up in the rankings due to their impressive overall performance.  Had multiple chances to win but ultimately faded away against the former champs.

5-Stealth 1-1

Cannot lose by 23 points and expect to remain in the top 4 so early in the season.  Need to cut down on the turnovers and stick to pounding the ball on the ground.  Big test this week as they host the #2 Spartans.

6-Stampede 2-1

May have secured their playoff spot with an overtime win against the Bulldawgs.  The defense continues to keep teams at bay but need to start scoring the ball with some consistency on offense if they want to be considered as anything more than a “best of the rest” consolation prize…

7-Bulldawgs 0-3

Finally played a game at home against an equal opponent…however the result was still the same.  Magic Valley gets to rest up this week, here’s to them refining their ground attack and making a push against the two other teams ranked lower than them

8-Mudd Ducks 0-3

Another week and another loss…times running out for the Mudducks if they want to make any attempt at repeating last season’s surprising success and make the playoffs…

9-Gladiators 0-1

Huge opportunity to jump ahead of the other cellar-dwellers this week as they play host to the Revolution.  Even a loss, if close, will vault them up into the #7 spot with so much football left to be played.
