Funny how guys can't figure out or have the cajones to build a profile and quit hiding behind anonymous or is that you guys are just too lazy to log in?
After thinking about it I'm going to ammend my initial post above. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe we should all just stop logging in and taking accountability for our posts. Maybe we should make it a requirement to stay anonymous.
Think about it, then we could act like each other and start Controversy and stir the pot then sit back and laugh.

Think you need to get rid of the statistical reporting. Major discrepencies all around. For example, the rebels have 63 tackles for last game, but there were only 37 "tackleable" plays. Come on guys, there's no all star game this year, so no need to trump up your stats. And we all know what youre gonna say "Quit crying about stats" blah, blah, etc, etc.. "It's all about the win" etc, etc.. I agree, but it just seems pointless to do it at all if youre not going to do it right.
Take a look at the spartans field and their stats and their roster. why don't you point the finger at the head of the league's team before you start bashing on another team.
Head of the league isn't affiliated with the Spartans at all. He doesn't even play for the Spartans this season. Even when he did play for the Spartans he was not part of management of the Spartans.
Well, I haven't looked at stats, but I am pretty sure that there were more than tackleable plays. we did run some offense in that game, there were punts and kick offs. and to be honest, Im pretty sure it felt andlooked like we were tackled at least twice on every play. haha
who cares!! give them a thousand tackles.. the only thing that matters from last week is that we lost and they won.
I dont thnk anyone was taking a shot at the rebels directly. probably just an observation since it was that big of a difference. i will agree that tons of tackles are not the sign of a succsessful team. usually teams that are trailing and defenses that are on the field a lot have the most of the tackles. just a thought

Especially when he only mentions the CHAMPS! Oh well. obviously his balls were small AND he ran out of Haterade! Must have been good stuff if he downed it all that fast!

You would think that if the President of the league is gonna be affiliated with the Spartans or any team for that matter that he would be harder on that team than any other team.
And dont give some B.S. that he is not. player, owner, whatever!
But no! He just gives them what they want and doesnt fine them. or anything! its a joke! and in short just like he (the president himself) has quoted. this is a rec league!

If the stats don't matter but stats reporting is required, they're not going to be accurate across the board because not everyone wants to sit there and itemize every piece of activity seen during game film and why should they? The important thing is to check the box that says "stats submitted". Hell, zero mine out (they're close enough to it anyway), I'm not expecting any scouts. If the game itself, the W/L columns or market share (whatever THAT is) isn't enough competition for anyone bitching about stats, join a rock/paper/scissors fight club on weeknights.

Come to think of it, I believe I had a pair of 132 yd kickoff returns and about a gazillion tackles for loss, sacks, and forced fumbles. I also drove from Syracuse to Logan in about 40 minutes and evaded the Mantua cop. Plus, Thurber is out of town this week, so I get his offensive stats. We lost but that doesn't matter. I have seen the light; it's about the individual numbers not the wins, how can you people not see it?
