Player... just a player. Hallelujah, I'M ONLY A PLAYER!!
I am more than happy with it being me. No offense to anyone on our team but we would be in trouble if we didn't have Jordan. With his quarterback rating and being the 2nd leading rusher in the league, I wouldn't trade him for anybody else. And yes I'm greedy. because Jordan is calling it quits So am I because I want nobody else as my quarterback.
Look at that a post not about someone's issues! I have to disagree here. Not to argue against Jordan but for D... Can I do that? The Rebels are not a 1 loss team without D. We lost a game because he couldn't walk yet still tried to put it all out there for his team. Without him we would of lost to the Rev without a doubt, and probably the shock. D is a running QB he has had to totally change his game due to injury and credit to him has gone from the bottom of the rankings previous years to the #1 rated QB in the league as far as QB rating goes this year. I have to agree with tinfoil we are all incredibly lucky to have these two in the league and be able to compete with and against them, and watch them perform their magic. As for the rest of the list can the Rebels get another RB on there or is there a team allowance? Kyle Coop anyone?
By the way choke artists? Status quo? I disagree this is the best shock team I have ever faced 1 missed tackle and this is a different storyline! Congrats on taking what you have always had and making something better than its ever been. Respect. Look forward to the next one.....you can wear black next time.
having an un-biased opinon I would say JK at QB, and here is my reasoning.
1- JK has a good ability to read and make the right throw
2- has the ability to get out of the pocket and make you make a decision on how to defend rather than him deciding.
3- Fast and shifty
Now maybe I am slightly biased because I've played agianst him more than I have D, so I have seen his abilities more. Im not saying Fields doesnt have those same abilities... I just think JK in my opinion is more solid overall as a QB, whereas Fields is more like a giant fullback that is fast and can throw the ball better than most QB's in the league. No disrespect to either QB, I think they are both deserving of that title... just my opinion.
And as for Sween at TE that does make one feel all warm and fuzzy!!! but if youre going to talk about the best in the league you have to give it to the man#8 above!!! he is hands down the best TE in this league. hard to cover and has great hands. even being injured most of the season still leads at that spot.

Back to the topic. Who has the best WR corps? Best LB corps? Best stable of RBs? Best group of DBs? Give a top 3 list(AAA of course!) in each group and maybe details to support your opinion... How bout it?
Best WRs- Shock NO BATTLE! Thornton, Cook and King been great this year. Best RBs I give to Dixie. Best DBs is whoever is not playing the Shock that particular week. HaHa!
To get the easy ones out of the way first.
DL- Rebels Wayne Alofipo is the best d lineman in the league no question. As they say the rich get richer Vince Feula and Mike Johnson are not far behind. The Stealth come in a close second here. Third the Spartans..."IF" they have all the troops?
Receivers- Uno Siete you are spot on here however in your great amount of "humility" you forgot to mention yourself. This group contains some of the best athletes in the league and goes across the board. Couple that with JK and the great relationship they have all built and this is a scary unit.
Second- A little more difficult here. The mudducks have some good talent at all four positions. The Rebels although a dominate run team have quietly shown themselves to be very good. However I think the second spot has to go to the Rev. they are possibly 6 deep with Dawson, Lang, and Jensen leading the way.
Running Backs- possibly the easiest pick, the Rebels take the cake here I would venture to say they have 3 backs that could start for most teams in the league with Coop, Tapuosi, and Irvin.
A close second is the stealth IK Ubani, Smoke Laloni and crew are nothing to sneeze at!
Third - can we count JK as being in the backfield? Shock have twos intimate runners add that to JK and maybe this group could be in the #1 spot?
Oline- now it becomes more difficult. Really a two horse race here Rebels or Stealth? Could the Stealth be any bigger? Or intimidating? Not likely! But the Rebs are leading the league in rushing ( not by a small amount). This stat is directly related to the work of a good o line. Couple that with the fact that Wissler seems to take more harrasment than the Rebel quarterbacks and I'll take the Rebels here.
DB- No brainer here. Harold Ragin, Harward, and Hector this group can go cover zero and not worry for a minute.
Who is number 2 is the question? How about the Rev with Mr two way Dawson and the giant killer this is a substantial group.
LB Maybe the toughest call. Three teams vie for this spot in my mind the Stealth led by Walker and not falling off in talent from there. The Rev a solid group led by our very own Leonitis and Mr. Head and shoulders shampoo himself. The Rebels have to be in the race if only because has anyone seen a LB core that hits like this one across the board? Who wants to cross the middle against these guys? Hooper? At the end of the day I think you have to give it to the Stealth because of the depth.
Last but not least quarterback as I stated we are lucky to have opportunity to watch the QB's in this league. Three are separated from the league as the tops. Chucky, Fields, and JK. In my mind two have separated themselves from this group. Who to pick JK or Fields? I believe JK is the league MVP but does that make him the best QB? He can run he is incredibly accurate on the move and from the pocket, no one is more slippery or capable of making something out of nothing. However as I stated he does have the best receiver core and great backs. Fields has made his money through the air this year with less talent on the outside? A healthy fields can out quick you jump you or just run you over. What impresses me most is what he has accomplished spending most the year with only one good leg! Imagine the Rebel running game with a healthy Fields??? For this reason I still go with Fields but can you actually make a wrong choice here?
