I would have a hard time not throwing Brad Thurbers name into the mix, plus Justin Torfin has had a very strong year at running back for the Stampede. Jordan Beckman has been solid at MLB

I would make Thurber the top qb in the Utah division as well, I think Mike Cook is for sure up there for WR and Kenja Mapp for CB

Since all I know is the 4 other teams in the Utah division, and in 2/3 the games we played we were stomped... Bad... my opinion may not matter. But I've watched a lot of film on these 4 and spent a few plays taking hits from these guys. So here is my mini report. (And those I miss I'm sorry In advance. And any Oilers I miss can make me eat my words tomorrow.)

QB is tough cause all 3 of these are AMAZING play makers. But #1 hands down Mr President Brad Thurber MVP in my opinion. #2 Quinn Haws, not a single player on my defense didn't take notice to how Quinn wasn't afraid to put his shoulder down and plow you over. #3 Jake Ihde great speed and ability to break ankles.

RB. Repeat the QBs 1-3 whoops. Um... #1 Logans Justin Torfin

WR. Anyone Brad wants to hit, or atleast it was that way in our 2 games. But In our game in Vernal #80 Mike Cook stands out in my memory as the best yet.

OL. Oilers

Just a few stand out defensive players for me.

Cobras. Chris Bratt great leader in both games and seemed almost unstoppable.
Also stats didn't show It like some guys But Dwayne Johnson was a beast out there

Vipers. I must have announced Tommy Makakonas name Atleast 2 dozen times when they came to Elko.

Stampede. I wont lie. You guys kicked our ass so bad all I remember is Orange. No names......

Oilers. Same thing as Logan. Such a fearsome D all around. I dont think any one Warrior left Vernal not bloody from you guys. But shout out to Kenja Mapp. Shut down corner and spectacular special teams player. He Is a Text book wedge breaker.

Warriors. Obviously giving up over 27 points a game isn't good. But to my 2 amazing Linebackers. League leading in tackles #34 Shane Thomas the heart of my team and his cohort #39 Carlas Bryge, I dont ever doubt those two and their desire and abilites. #80 Preston Walthers owns Preston Island and not many have beat him. Last #11 Chris Rodríguez quiet guy but almost always perfect at D end. Not many men I know work harder than these 4 if any.

Just my opinion...... Maybe you guys can back up my players so I dont seem so Biased. :) thanks for reading.

Ryan

Im hoping I can help your guys tomorrow but I blame that cause only 17 guys showed up out here but damn they played like there was double what there was so those guys deserve a shout out big time

I second the votes for chris bratt and shane thomas at lbs, I would also vote #56 from the Vipers and #9 from cobras

QB is hard for me to decide Thurber and Haws both have better numbers but Idhe has the best stat of all at 7-1he made the plays that had to count for our W's. And i think he would also be one of the best WR in the league if he wasnt playing QB

RBs obviosly Torfin bein the only one in the top 20

WR Mike Cook he has made so many catches that were just insane he'll go get the ball wherever its thrown.
As a squad i would put logan WRs as best all around though

CB #1 Kenja Mapp #2 Jaye

Tom,
With you being biased and all, how can you not include Javon in your picks for WR, especially after the game he had yesterday. And can you imagine how much more he could do if we threw the ball anywhere near as much as the Generals do. Come on now.

I agree whole heartily with ya Tom. That being said Souza and Smith are amazing route runners and have outstanding hands! This is also coming from a defensive perspective Tom. Having played against all three whether in practice or in games, have to give the nod to Timmy and Jerry as OVERALL WR's. Athletically Von is miles better than them! I just feel that as complete WR's they win out. That being said I love my boy Von to death! Best ST and big play player in AA hands down. You just love giving people crap huh Tom? :)

No problem Bryce...keep doing what you're doing man!

WR - Ceylon-Elgin Taylor, Shane Byers , Richard Treiber, Saxton Coorough

Corner Backs - Chance Voegele, Brent Mahan, Richard Treiber

Safeties - Andrew Badger, Chico Stipe, Gallatin Valley number 1

LBS - Jon Boedecker, Brandon Genthe, Tusi Ah - Mai, Spencer Steiner

DT - Terry Hiat, Sika Ulota, Chris Brawley

Kicker - Erick Peterson

MVP of the Division - I cant decide .....Jurasek/Wells/Keuhne?? Take a pick they all have a great argument!!

I'm sorry Bobby :( It is honestly my goal to get Dickard into the all stars this year. Than man is a literal brick wall as an o lineman and he deserves it. If it makes you feel any better Nathan I stopped caring about your list when you put yourself at tackle and had four Generals on defense(Hays deserves it...that's it)

Dickard is a beast. LOL I couldnt leave myself out why would I do that and I think I did pretty good at tackle for it being my first full year there. I had 6 Matadors on defense geez and the Generals I do have on D are well deserving of it

Do tell why they are deserving. The Anarchy have a studly defense and not one name from them. It's an all-conference team man! Meaning watch other teams! Greg Hillary and Jeb Harrison are ballers and it killed me to leave them off my list. I bet you don't even know who I'm talking about. Nathan your defense allowed 27.1 points per game. What is good about 27 points a game!?!?!? Answer-Nothing! You have one guy who is deserving...ONE. I would love to hear why Drennon and Skinner are deserving and if you say because they have a lot of tackles...I might slap you next time I see you.

Also what makes you a good tackle? Do you ever wonder why your offensive game plan is getting the ball out so quick??? :) Just some food for thought. Also Rye Mcafee is the best tackle probably in all of AA. You not having him on your list is a travesty! You need to open your eyes playa!

Look at the stats tommy, and why not base it off stats? Isnt that how these kinda things are picked? I never said Anarchy D wasnt deserving they have a heck of a group for sure, it took my forever to finally make up a list but playing with the guys I do and knowing their character factored into why I picked em. My team may have allowed 27 points a game but these are individual selections, we arent picking a team. The guys I listed are well deserving and there are otheres I didnt list that are as well but not everyone can win.

What makes me a good tackle? How bout the fact that I havent gave up a sack all year? I call that pretty good considering I've never played o-line in my life I've always been TE. Our gameplan to get that ball out quick has absolutely nothing to do with out o-line, we get the ball out quick because thats the type of offense are, a hurry up offense, we want to get the ball out to our playmakers and let them do something with it. Mcafee is a good tackle probably better than me but I wanted to put my name down. :)

Love you Hilltown! Trust me brotha I know how you ball on D! Good luck in the playoffs man! Bring home that W!

Nathan any good LB can stop the run. Are you aware that in two games versus us and against Arco and IF you guys gave up 200+ yards rushing!?!?!? What kinda good LB play is that?! Who gives a crap about there character! If we wanted to see your homer list, we would have asked for that. Biased and stupid are two different things. Drennon having a lot of tackles means nothing. He would be a third stringer for us...not an all star. Your offense is the ONLY reason you guys won games. You didn't know who to put so you put the guys you knew...you can admit it.

Nathan your offense gets the ball out quick because your o line is garbage my friend. Your offense makes it damn near impossible to get a sack and thats by design Nathan. They know they don't have time, so they get it out quick. This isn't the list of good. A good tackle bends at the knees, not the waist. You're a waste bender. Good tackles aren't lazy. You are. Good tackles don't lunge to get blocks. You do. You talk more than you block. You dont finish blocks. Good tackles do. Do you wonder why Joel lined up on your side most of the game Mr. Im an all star? Also FYI that final pick we had versus you guys was because of your stellar play at tackle. Remember when Douglass okie doked you and wrapped your qb up? Then he threw it out of desperation? Ya I remember that play too. All star play for sure. If you want Nathan why dont you and I watch film together and we break down what good and bad plays are. Do you actually watch film? Your offense gets the ball out hot because you guys cant block! Teams rush three guys and still get pressure. Pull your head out and see the writing on the wall.

Also dont talk about players you know nothing about. I would rather play with one Rye Mcafee than five of you.

Good day

Nathan first off being a hurry up offense is not getting the ball out quick you nimrod! Hurry up means you spend little to no time in the huddle. 2nd the reason you haven't given up a sack has nothing to do with being good. In fact I'm pretty sure you never touched our d-ends all day on Saturday. The only reason you didn't give up a sack was because your QB ran for his life and threw us the ball five times. 3rd these selections are not based on stats, they are based on talent. Notice the leading tacklers are all from teams not ranked 1 or 2? You're honestly telling me Drennon is better than our MLB Wilson? And in case your not sure who that is, he is the guy that picked off Rhode and then broke 6 tackles on his way to a 102yd return....

By the way this is Cody so don't get your panties in a wad cause it says anonymous.
