I was bored at work so I thought I'd throw my thoughts out there.
Gallatin Valley Snow Devils @ Missoula Phoenix- Sorry Snow Devils but not a chance. The Phoenix will roll as they prepare for the playoffs. Missoula 49-6
Billings Bullets @ Helena Bearcats- Billings had a good inaugural season in the RMFL AA. Keep up the good work and you will be a team to worry about. Bullets 35-9
Idaho Mustangs @ Arco Anarchy- Mustangs are on life support and playing for their playoff lives. But the Anarchy are about to pull the proverbial plug!!! Sorry Mustangs, but all good runs come to an end and this will be the end of your playoff appearance run. Anarchy 28-13
Snake River Sabercats @ Gem State Guardians- Good news Sabercats! You get to end the season on a high note. Bad news Sabercats, the Guardians will show up for the opening kickoff and then totally give up physically after your first td. I am happy the Guardians have stuck it out, but holy hell at least try to show some effort. Your games are blowout because you give up, not because you don’t have talent. Sabercats win and win big. Snake River 49-0
Boise Generals @ Idaho Matadors- I don’t see this game going that great for the Generals. They are one of the best offenses in the AA and the offense reminds me of certain Eastern Idaho team a few years back that could fling it around the field like no one else’s business. But the difference is the Lions had somewhat of a decent defense. The Generals can’t stop the run and the Matador’s Anthony Pomerlee is the man! Unless the Generals use their wide receivers as D line and linebackers it will not end the way they would hope. Generals put up some points but not enough defense to slow the Matador’s Offense. Luckily for the Generals they have head to head over the Mustangs. Matadors 47-35
Utah Cobras @ Davis Vipers- Compare this game to a fight between the world’s tallest midgets. It does not matter who wins or loses because in the end you are still a midget. Better luck next season enjoy your summer. Cobras 24-6
Uintah Basin Oilers @ Elko Warriors- Everyone thinks the Warriors are better at home, more players, more fans, no travel, blah, blah, blah, blah. Warriors are what the Oilers used to be, a team with potential but still a long distance to get there. Elko started the season as a crap sandwich. They still are a crap sandwich but just not a soggy one. Oilers rest starters in second half but still win and host first round playoff game. Oilers 21-13
Upper Valley Vikings @ Mini-Cassia Diggers- It is hard to say what will happen with this game. The Diggers are a hard hitting, young team that is wild eyed and full of bewilderment (courtesy of Ricky Bobby). The Vikings have really shown what a year can do for a team. They have spent two straight years as the bottom dwellers and are now primed to make the playoffs. The Diggers have to be depressed because of having no playoff hopes, but they can throw the dreaded wrench into the gears of what is the Idaho AA playoffs with an upset. Last meeting it was the passing game of the Vikings that made the difference on the scoreboard. Can the Diggers slow down the rushing attack of the Vikings? Possibly. Can they prevent the big play through the air? Possibly. Can they score enough to win against the Vikings? Possibly psyche…No!!! The Vikings prove to be too much for the Diggers and go on to secure first playoff appearance. Vikings 35-10
