Stars & Stripes Academy Tournament & AA All Star Game

Now that the league championship games are concluded, it is time to focus on the inaugural SASA Tourney & All Star game.

Games kickoff Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Judge High School in Salt Lake.  For those of you looking to play, I'm 100% sure that each and every team would like to add a few players, even it is it for one of the days.  There are no roster limits or league requirements.  Anyone can play on any team.  Sunday's games are slated for Rice-Eccles Stadium with championship game set for 10:30 a.m.

The AA All Star Game and related activities are scheduled for 3:30 on Saturday at Judge High School.

There are 56 officials from around the country travelling in for this event, along with another 10 staff officials from BCS conferences.

Also, a film crew will be at Judge on Saturday to film a documentary for ESPN.  I know they are filming the AA All Star Game and possibly others.

Thanks to everyone that came out to suit up for The Utah Cobras.
Thanks to the Mudd Ducks, Shock and Stampede guys for giving us good games this weekend.
A SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO RAJEIM SEABROOK who helped me coordinate things with the Montana boys.
I got to see some very talented football players that I may not have ever seen.
Also, I think I've made a few new football friends along the way.
Thanks to all the teams, players, coaches and staff that participated in and played this weekend.
DAVE STIREMAN.....you did it, man. WAY TO GO!
I hope everyone gets healthy, stays healthy and gets away from football for a little while.
Re-introduce yourselves to your wives and children.
I'll see you all in Las Vegas for the SIN CITY BOWL III.
I'll be posting details early this week, (Tuesday or Wednesday).

I had a blast all weekend. Thank you to my coaches and team mates and all the guys filling in positions. I would do that any day of any week!!!! Also a big thanks to the RMFL staff for all of the fun games. What a riot playin in Rice-Eccles. That was a once in a lifetime chance there fellers and I'm glad we were able to take advantage of playing there. Everybody drive safe and heal up and I will see you all on the field in a short six months or so!!!

Had a great time out there playing in the tourney, and the all star game. Thanks to the Oilers for letting me ball with you guys before the all star game! I would have come back out with you guys on Sunday if I wasn't already on my way back to Nevada.

There were some things left at the two fields over the weekend. There was a silver helmet with a green facemask. It doesn't have any decals on it but I would assume it is a Warrior helmet. There was also a black nike duffle bag with a pair of basketball shoes in it and a pair of football cleats outside. Let me know if these belong to you.
PS I also have the Oilers kicking tee that was left.
