I was going to write this later this week, but I was given some ideas for new material today that I just had to document. So here I sit drinking some beer and watching the Bulls-Heat game.
First of all I want to say congrats to all the winners from last week...34-14 (Yeah it was a rough week)but that means teams are getting it done out there.
Apparently my predictions last week offended some, mainly because I'm not showing some teams enough love/respect..
I sincerely apologize for doing this(SARCASM), now I wont name any teams or specific people who were unhappy. But let me say one person sure did give me the 5-1-1 (oops I mean 4-1-1) on his team. One thing I was surprised about was how much this person knows about the popular television show "scrubs" and how easy it is to get grass stains out of your jersey by using "scrubbing bubbles." At least that's what I got out of our very private conversation. But as I said before no names!! Keep it gangsta fellas..
I'm usually not one for throwing jabs out there but it was too hard to resist...At least I know people read this crap right?!
Ok now on to the weekly predictions...
AAA Predictions
Mudd Ducks at Rebels - Rebels 31-6
I have much respect for the Ducks organization, but I'm affraid a Rebels team in the playoff hunt is going to be too much to overcome. Coming off of a drubbing, be warned this one could get ugly.
**GAME OF THE WEEK**
Revolution at Stealth - Rev 24-18
The defending AAA champs have been really inconsistent, in a rematch and most likely a close game again, revolution take care of business on the road.
AA Predictions
Knights at Phoenix - Phoenix 40-12
Ok so maybe the Phoenix aren't dead just yet, I picked the Snow Devils to hand them their third straight loss last week and they didn't. This rematch will be a replay of their first meeting with the Knights.
Gladiators at Snow Devils - Gladiators 40-0
GLADIATORS ARE AWESOME!!! EVERYONE IN THE LEAGUE WATCH OUT!!! THEY WILL KILL THE SNOW DEVILS!!! Better? I tried...Sorry Devils I had to do this, do some research and you will understand why...No disrespect.
**GAME OF THE WEEK 1(A)** Cobras at Oilers - Oilers 31-28
I was actually between this game and another for game of the week 1(a) but because of the intriguing battle between these two teams and the Sting in the Utah Division I went with this one. Oilers need this game more then the Cobras do in my opinion. They can't afford to be swept by the Cobras. And in the end I don't think they will be. This time at home I believe the Oilers defense makes the young Cobras QB uncomfortable and they win a close game.
Warriors at Sting - Sting 28-0
Sting have seemed to hit their stride on offense with perfect timing, beating the Cobras in Brigham this past weekend. This one won't be as close as the first matchup between these two teams. Although the Warriors for the second straight year; edged out the Vipers at the end of the game, so they will come into this one on a positive note...
Vikings at Matadors - Dors 55-0
Vikings this is not the team you want to see when you have given up 119 points like the Vikings have...Anyone else dying to see the Matadors/Generals game?! Two thumbs up for video game stats.
Bulldawgs at Diggers - Bulldawgs 31-20
Dawgs bounce back from a horrible loss in a fundamentally sound and physical game.
Lancers at Anarchy - Anarchy
I give up...
Generals at Guardians - GENERALS
Generals have scored 196 points and the Guardians 6...
Generals: You guys need to give up a score or two soon or no one is going to show up to play you in the playoffs...Either way it doesn't matter because you will be in the AAA next year anyways...Right? YOU BETTER BE...SMH
