At the halfway point the race for playoff spots is wide open with three of five teams having legitimate opportunities to end up with the #1 seed. It will be a second half to watch!!!
Revolution @ Shock
Without a doubt this is the game of the week! The Stealth are on fire offensively with their new QB, Steve Vincent, at the helm they look to make a nice run in the second half of the season. However Mr. Vincent has not seen a defense like the Rev yet so I look forward to being in attendance and seeing how he does with this new test first hand. I believe the Rev have one of the top two defenses in the league ,by the way being number 2 in this league is no shame as both the Rebels and the Rev look scary on that side of the ball. On offense the Rev are nothing if not consistent, with Charlie at the helm they will always be dangerous. The Stealth are in a must win situation every week if they want to move up in the playoff order so I am sure they will bring their A+ game on Saturday. That being said I think the Rev D will be a bit too much for the oncoming Stealth and the Rev O will put up enough points to stay ahead.

Ducks @ Rebels
Not much to say here as the Rebels are good anywhere, they hold a special home field advantage. If you have not been down to St. George for a game I suggest you go it is a very professionally run organization, and a great atmosphere. I look for Sarge to do for the AA what he has down for the Rebels in the future!! Back to the point the Rebels D is the real deal and I am sure they are a bit better at home than in Salt Lake. The Rebels O needs to get a little cohesiveness going but they are pretty good also. I think this is the game that their O comes together, if I’m right it will make for an exciting rematch in two weeks. Still a Duck believer and I fully believe if they come together they can make some noise in St. George but IF is a big word, and they have work to do! Rebels walk away in this one.
