IF, and I'm not putting the cart before the horse here, IF the REV beat the Utah Shock and there is a 3 way tie for 1st place, what are THE EXACT AND SPECIFIC CRITERIA for the seedings? If the REV win, 10-0, what happens? If the REV win 28-21 what happens? Please be as definitive as possible in the explanation. There's TONS riding on this game and I think it's it everyone's best interest to know exactly what the criteria is. Obviously, the REV know what happens if they lose.
Please explain as in depth as possible. What if the REV win 35-21?
As I stated on the Facebook page, if the REV win, it is a three way tie at 6-2. With the three teams beating each other and having the same strength of schedule, points allowed is the next tiebreaker.
Current points allowed are: Shock 104 REV 128 Rebels 159
So, Shock win they are #1. Lose by less than 24 as long as they don't allow 55 and still #1 REV win by more than 24 and they are #1 as long as they don't allow more than 31 Rebels are #1 if REV win and allow more than 31 and Shock allow more than 55
I had some wrong numbers and the scenarios on FB and the forum are incorrect. My Utah County education is showing with my math skills. Here are the corrected numbers and scenarios:
So, Shock win they are #1. Lose by 24 or less as long as they don't allow 58 and still #1 REV win by more than 25 and they are #1 as long as they don't allow more than 33 Rebels are #1 if REV win and allow more than 33 and Shock allow more than 58 Stealth are #4 with a win or loss and allowing less than 113 more than they score. Mudd Ducks are #4 with a win and a 113 point differential.
Oh i get it, u are kinda like an 8 yr old, u just want a pat on the back for comprehending jess' post. good job trill, yes rev are 2 with your scenario.
In the scenario I've presented, the Rebels would be #3 for PA, which would break the 3-way tie, then do we still go off PA or do we change to head-to-head to break the tie between #1 and #2?
It is still the same. If you win, all teams are 6-2. The first criteria is head to head. Since all the teams beat each other, we go to cumulative record of all other opponents, which again is the same. The third is points allowed. So it is possible for the REV to win and not be the #1. If it is a high scoring shootout, the Rebels could sneak into #1. If you have any questions, please feel free to call. 435-590-6184
Wow what an interesting bunch of possibilities...I can just picture trill and Charlie sitting together with their calculator calculating haha! Seriously not often that the top three spots are fluid dependent upon the results of one game.... it will be a good week ahead of us!!

Nearly losing was enough to jog his memory not a moral victory...i just want to know of he is the AAA stud that illegaly cut me on a kickoff and messed up my knee
Hoop, i can't wait till we meet! I'm gonna take you outside and kick...haha, see what i did there. much love little guy, we would get along just fine. too bad u AAA studs don't want to play an Allstar gane :( we could party like its 2009!
I believe we had our WR/DB Ricky Dias playing tackle that game.
The funniest part about that game is when Coach Croshaw called timeout and y'alls holder for the winning field-goal said, "Nice try, he kicks better under pressure." and our coach replied, "Well, good for him!!" Then y'alls kicker completely flanked the kick. LOL
And as for the illegal-cut non-sense, I go heads up with a blocker or ball-carrier and if he out-sizes me, I'll get lower than him and block or form-tackle.
How am I supposedly illegally cuttin' you when I got my helmet in your chin?
