Kyto, I have talked with my owner and we would like to see the first six in an AAA playoff and the next 8 in a AAplayoff. then only two teams are left out playoffs and they can be delegated to A division. The two teams in A championship will move up...what do u think?

The Lancers held a team meeting Saturday ( Jan.4th) and voted unanimously to support the leagues Proposition 2, or a variance as close to it as we can get. I informed the team of the two proposals and we feel it is what is best for the league as a whole, and allows us to develop our team in a division that has teams at our competitive our level which is good for all of us. Plus the proposed travel schedule was something we could live with. As we develop, we work our way towards a AA championship and eventual AAA membership.

Agreed with Tom just from some little conversations I've had with some of my Oiler brothers we were all in on prop 2, travel will suck sometimes but I think as a whole that will be the best for the league!

If there is a 16 team AAA they will definitely want to go AAA.

To be honest, I am in favor of Kyto's 16 team AAA and a A league. It is more incentive for AA teams to move up this year, because they can still play for the AA 'ship. If that is what is voted in, I think that the Mustangs will definitely want to go AAA.

Word on the street is the Generals could fold rather than play AAA so then the Mustangs could just take their spot. Still would work out. I think it is funny that lots of teams are interested in moving up now with the 16 team format but arguably the best two AA teams last year both are fighting to keep things the way they were and then not move up. Cough Cough Matadors Cough Cough Generals.

James,

It's nothing new. The same guys, same teams, always wanting to do what's best for them.

If they fold, let them.

I'll make sure to be the first to motion for all those involved to be banned from the league permanently.

See you all next week.

Agreed. If the league lets them fold in order to avoid the jump there has to be a penalty. Or those players shouldn't be allowed to play for another team for at least a season or more. People will argue why punish the players. But let's be real most of the teams in the league have their players or veteran players opinions part of the managing decision making process.

Got a little overzealous in your ass kissing, Turk. I think "all involved" was directed at the reps in the league meeting who pull this nonsense. There's no way in hell you can rightfully punish the masses for poor leadership.

What's your position gonna be if your team's leadership performs a 180 next weekend? Are you gonna be down with being banned for some $hit you didn't have a hand in?

Silly.

I was agreeing with the argument based on the championship team trying to fight league policy.

Gotta pay attention to Kyto's wording: "All those involved". You can't really expect to suspend players just because their management sux. In a case where they just wanna fold and create a new team, then you can start putting constraints, like no more than...lets put a number out there... 10 of the past team on one team..

I agree. I did not think that comment through or clearly state my opinion on that subject. It's a players league and there are too many players who play for many other reasons to punish them all. It wouldn't be fair. I rephrase by stating maybe the league could add sanctions to a specific GM who does this.

Chalk that one up to frustration on my part. In no way do I think the players should be punished when they aren't involved in the decision making process.

Turk, you back pedaling from your idiotic posts more and more lately. Maybe you should change your listed roster position from WR to DB. It'll describe your position and your persona, devensive back and douche bag. Do yourself a favor and shut up. Maybe not permanently but for at least until you have some form of educated opinions.
