didnt know him, but i am sorry to hear that... sounds like the RMFL lost another good man. R.I.P James. may we all go out this season with the fallen comrades in our minds. despite the rivalries and bad blood, i love the game of football and respect all the players in the RMFL. in my mind its a brotherhood. Sad to hear we lost a brother.
When I first heard this I was in shock. I seriously felt numb for about 10 minutes.... which felt like hours.
Some of my favorite memories playing for the Vipers in the UFL/RMFL included the team that James was apart of.
I still remember the time we all got tore up from the floor up in Grand Junction. We partied like we owned the Rum Bay Bar. Our entire football team (give or take 10 guys) was there... I remember one guy tried to get tough with one of the players and James was the first to fly in there and "politely" ask the guy if he had a problem (while about 20 other dudes stood behind him) haha! Needless to say...the guy didn't have a problem! And that night was a blast.
I believe it was Mike Christensen that became the "I Love You" Man... that was also hilarious. I think that poor Denny's night shift didn't know what to do with us.
R.I.P Mr. Flynn, and to your close friends and family. My thoughts and Prayers go out to you.
