With 8 league games at 2 schools in Salt Lake City this weekend, it's safe to say that this will be one of the most memorable weekends in RMFL history. I can't tell you how excited I am to have 16 of our 24 teams in one place this weekend, and to be able to offer travel money to those teams making the trip. This is becoming a fantastic partnership for the RMFL. I wanted to make sure and get all of the info out to teams participating and fans coming to watch the games.

At conclusion of each gate, each team is responsible for complete clean up of their sidelines. Water is the only allowed beverage on each sideline. No sunflower seeds either. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Chain crews and ball boys will be supplied by SASA. However, it may be necessary to ask a team for help running the chains.
SASA will provide clock and play clock operators.
Game footballs will be supplied by SASA. The same footballs used last year (Wilson composite balls). If a team elects to use their own footballs, then a minimum of 4 will be required.
Each team is required to supply an active roster with names, numbers and position prior to their respective games to the Public Address Announcer.
Player, coaches and approved team staff will be admitted free of charge.

Players that depart the facility but return for a later game will be charged. Players that stay at the facility following their game may stay at no charge.
Game film for each game will be available via download on Monday or Tuesday of next week @ sasa.mentorref.com. There is no charge for this download.
***Just a reminder to players participating in the games this weekend. We know this changes the traditional format of RMFL games, especially when it comes to timing (15 minute quarters, college timing rules, etc.). The Managing Board has determined that the financial impact (the RMFL teams save over $10,000 in field costs, officials costs, and travel money from this weekend) is more than worth the minor inconveniences. On top of that, most of these officials are Division 1 crews--not all, but most, AND we get professionally filmed footage of the games. They try to honor our exceptions (down-by-contact, etc.), but are trained at the college level. I can't over-emphasize what a great deal this is for the RMFL. Please take care of the facilities and show the needed respect to the officials.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!
