Idaho has a lot to prove in this one as not only did they lose twice already to this team in the regular season and did not conduct themselves very well in Uintah the last time as it ended in fights, walk-offs, and no end of game combined prayer. This time I think the match is a lot closer, and cooler heads prevail, but when the dust settles and all is said and done its the Oilers that will be on top. Mustangs 19 - Oilers 26
Vipers @ Snowdevils -
Vipers are on a roll as of late and that may be an understatement. They've won five of their last six, including the opening round playoff game last week, with the only loss in that time frame being the #1 Uintah Oilers. They had a loss in week 4 before they began this six game tear, and that only loss was to the Snowdevils and also at home. The Devils however only have one loss all season and it is to the Vipers, but was in week 1 and most teams are different in the end than they were in their seasons opener. This will be a battle of defenses and who's ever shows up to be stronger will carry their team to victory. Vipers 13 - Snowdevils 25
25 points against the Vipers defense is a reach...they only scored 21 against us in 2 games...they had a pic 6 in their 20-19 win and that was a game we lost in the special teams category...Our defense has had 4 shutouts in 5 weeks and allowed only 1 TD against the undefeated Oilers which also should have been a shutout...but everyone is open to their opinion and predictions...good luck to all the teams left and may the best team win...GO VIPERS
VIPERS #13
All I gotta say is I can't wait for Saturday........ The game against Davis at Their house was a battle and honestly I expect more of the same..... Random guy is correct, we are not the same team you saw in week one, or even week four. Best of luck to everyone this weekend, travel safe Vipers we will see U all in Belgrade Sat. Go Devils!

Gotta check your facts before you start blasting a team, bro. I have played with the Mustangs for 3 years. We have never not participated in the after-game prayer. We have only had one guy "walk-off" and it was because he wasn't getting enough playing time and was throwing a fit, not because of bad sportsmanship. Also, I don't remember any fights, there was some chipiness, but that is about it. You should really get with your source of this information and slap him across the face.
Now for my picks:
Mustangs @ Oilers
I am biased. I will give facts but not a real pick. The Mustangs can move the ball on offense, but have had a real hard time getting into the end zone lately. Could this be the week they finally get in? The Oilers' offense is no push-over either. They have quite a few athletes that can move the ball. They are great at getting yards after the reception. Their running game, at least from what I have seen, needs improvement, but they can move it 3-4 yards when they need to. The Mustangs defense is a top-notch defense in AA. They have a big front 7 that are aggressive and make plays up front. The Oilers have a great secondary, and their run defense isn't bad either. This will become a defensive struggle like it always has been with these two teams. The scoreboard never shows it because the Oilers are really good at capitalizing on the other team's mistakes. If the Mustangs can keep from turning the ball over, and keep mistakes to a minimum this will be a very low scoring game, and whichever defense blinks first will lose.
Vipers @ Snowdevils
So it would appear that the Vipers have their starting QB back. That is good for them. With him they now have a new vigor. Everyone plays harder now that their star is back. They are a really good team and have the athletes to beat any team in AA. They already have experience going to the Snowdevils and beating them, and thy will be taking the same squad with them this time. The Snowdevils are not the #2 seed for no reason though. They are a tough team, and as they said on here earlier, they are not the same team as before. This is true, We played the Weeks 2 & 9. Week 9's offensive line was MUCH bigger than week 2's. I'm not sure what they are feeding them up there but, they are a much better team at home than away. This is a really tough one to pick, since the Vipers' QB (Sherwood I think??) went out in the first half against us so we really didn't get much of an idea what he can do, but apparently, having him back makes the Vipers a much harder team to beat. The problem for the Snowdevlis is they don't have a super high powered defense. The Vipers have both high-powered offense and defense. I think that will be a deciding factor for the game. I think the Vipers win in Belgrade again.
There was no fights in the mustangs game, one player was a big issue Def not someone who I would allow on our team but other than that mustangs are a good team and a great bunch of guys.
And the vipers game, now ur d is good but ur talking ur self up a lil much we as a offense beat ourselves there's no doubt we should of had atleast 3 touchdowns. Now I'm not saying we would of won cause we didn't and u guys beat us straight up no argument there and I congratulated all of u after the game, but u will never see a oilers team play that poor again. But props to the vipers and lets go for a all utah championship!
Defense wins championships...and our D is championship caliber...and a rematch in an all Utah championship would be bad ass good luck to u n the Oilers...n to all the teams left
VIPERS #13
May have had my teams mixed up. Maybe it was Vipers @ Oilers that got nasty.. But can a Mustang representative confirm if what I heard about you guys possibly only traveling with 22ish this weekend? I really think you guys could give the Oilers a run if you show up in numbers. Sure hope so at least. Don't want the Oilers to have to easy of a road to the championship (especially with this all Utah title game talk)
And definitely was not trying to put anybody on blast or start drama, just a bold prediction that's it.
"The problem for the Snowdevils is they do not have a super high powered defense" he said..... Mustang#43........ Top two tacklers in the league (AA), regular season sack leader, #2 in interceptions (Vipers #3), only 65 points allowed on the season, 8.1 per game with 3 shutouts I believe, compared to 79 points allowed by Davis, or a 9.9 per game average. Add the number one offense in the league to that........... There are gonna be some fireworks Saturday in Belgrade, because the Vipers are right there statistically also. Didn't look super close at the offensive stats but am almost positive it is a Viper or Oiler at the top of almost every category right along with the Snowdevils guys. The Lancers are in the top of a few categories as well, props to those guys they played hard and never gave up for a second at SAS....... Anyway, my point being it is my humble opinion this is gonna be one hell of a game three, effort and who wants it more are gonna decide this one. No prediction on the score from this kid, travel safe Vipers, May heavenly father make sure you make it here safely, best of luck to everyone playing this weekend. Go Snowdevils!

Oilers played their worst ball all season against the vipers. We came into the game with the mind set we had everything locked up for 1st place and a win or lose didn't matter much. And it showed. We were trounced.
The snow devils have proven all year their offense is the most reliable - whether it is through the air or the ground. Being the 2nd best defense statistically by PA is a hurdle the vipers are going to struggle with. I don't feel the vipers offense will.be able to go toe to toe because they are one dimensional. Sherman is a big huge dude but I honestly felt that the vipers lost a facet of their O (throwing) having him in there. I think this is going to be a close one but the devils put this away 24-14
Oilers Mustangs
I never did see anything bad on the field except the one player Ihde mentioned earlier. Overall the mustangs have been a classy bunch of guys. I know the oilers are looking for a hard hitting smash mouth game and that's what the mustangs will give. This is going to a great game. Oilers are looking for a resurgence after a loss to the vipers. Mustangs are looking for a better scoreboard after only scoring 3 against the warriors. C'mon man! Hope you all drive safe we'll see you on the battlefield.
Yes we suck So bad...our 1 dimensional offense is gonna go get our asses handed to us in Montana. We might as well not even go cuz we suck So bad. snow devils 99 vipers -14
Mustangs vs Oilers tjmaxx012's comment makes me wanna pick the mustangs. But the oilers will be just too much for the mustangs. Its been proven twice that they can't hang. I'm sorry but this is the part of the season where you should be getting better not worse. I think this one gets a little out of hand, oilers 45 mustangs 6. And if the mustangs travel really really well oilers 45 mustangs 6.
Nothing against the mustangs though, you guys have a great group of guys and I wish both teams the best. Just opinions is all.
I think the oilers are gonna beat the mustangs and I think the vipers will beat the snowdevils. The oilers are the best overall team in the league an the mustangs have obvious weaknesses with their qb being the only weapon on offence. The snowdevils defence is the leading the league in sacks but with Sherwood back they wont be bringing him down. The snowdevils offence shows repetitive tendencies that a middle school football player could pick up an the vipers defence will bring there A game.
They scored 21 in 2 games and they supposed to score 24 in one???lmao ok...keep sleeping on our defense...you are talking about the same defense in regarding to the Snowdevils that allowed 19 n won by one to the mini Cassa diggers n our defense shut em out and has been shutting every offense down for the last 5 weeks...and as fsr as the Oilers go we played our worst game the first time we played the oilers if that's the excuse we gonna use for a bad game...and Sherwood only played 1 qt in the oilers game n didn't play at all against the lancer last week n hasn't played much at all since going down week 2 against the Mustangs
Everyone keeps saying that since schuyler is back then we win but if he isn't then we will lose. They have been saying that since game 2 and he hasn't been playing. I'm just saying, schuyler is a Damn good player but we don't win or lose because of him. Its a team effort. Not a one person effort.
My comment was intended to imply that I thought the mustangs were a much better team than the scoreboard implied for the last couple games including the oilers
You say that a AA team that lost just one time in the regular season, winning 7 in a row, runs plays so simple a middle schooler could diagnose and stop it? Then how did they win 7 in a row? Is EVRY SINGLE team in the AA so weak that they're not as good as a middle school team? Or is it possible that you're just making yourself sound stupid? Aside from the fact that any kid in middle school could correctly spell the words offense and defense, I beg to differ that the defenses (even in AA) are so terrible. The only other option is that their quarterback must be good enough to tell you what he's doing, then did it anyway, since he led the league in yards for rushing and passing. How does that happen if their plan is so simple? The Vipers may have one of the best defenses in the AA with so many shutouts and forced turnovers. But counting theplayoffs they've given up 85 points all year and 32 of those (almost 38%) were to the so called simple offense. So what accounts for all their production if not all the defenses are sub middle school level according to you...
Before people think that's what I believe, this was about as sarcastic as I could get. Making a comparison between ANY team in our leave kids in middle school is ridiculous. Almost as bad as you thinking defense and offense are spelled defence and offence
Thank you Delirious Dan, for also realizing how stupid some one looks when they try to insult you but can't even use basic grammar, spelling or English in general... Your not you're. Ha ha what a moron.
