Wow been awhile since this has been chatty... First off good looking new website ADMIN.... Second, the season is coming up very soon. Any teams have pre season games to watch or scrimmages?????
I really like the old red, white and blue personally...but if functionality improves (I had no complaints) it's a win! Are we getting all the old records and info back!!??
When will we see pre season write ups? Who is writing them this year?
I think that it is Horrible. Its not easy to navigate or find anything. There is no way to get to the teams individual websites. there is truly no information on the home screen. If I was a business that had some extra money to sponsor a team or the league I would look at the home page and not invest because there is no information. There is no history of the league, no historical stats, nothing that would make the RMFL different from other leagues. Actually by the website it makes the RMFL look more recreation and inferior. As a former team owner I would be embarrassed to send my sponsors to the league webpage.
From looking at the home page yall must be only interested in getting players, fans, and others to the fourm, schedules, and the mission statement. NOT a FAN of the new look and feel of the site.
****realize the above is strictly my opinion. so before anyone gets all upset because their panties are too far up their ass. Realize its an opinion and if you do not want truthful feedback do not ask for it.****
Preece -- I agree to a certain extent. I definitely don't think it's horrible by any means, but there is some improvement that can happen.
I do realize that we are in transition into a new generations of RMFLers which I think is awesome, but I do think they are missing out what some of us had when we transitioned.
The website lacks content. Does anyone even know that we had to add an extra team to AA to make 5 teams? When was the last time the RMFL had to add an extra team after the league meeting? (Answer: Mountain Home Bengals, 2004)
Does anyone know how many teams make the playoffs? Did anyone know that instead of having a Tier 2, we have a bowl game? Did anyone know that the Podcast is traveling to games this year?
I get Facebook is a huge part of how people communicate, but this is the official league website. It just lacks a little content. It's going in the right direction, we just need to give a little feedback so it can be changed hopefully.
I think the league should also make it known that they are a registered 501(c)4 Non Profit Organization. Do people know that?

New content? = Hire Kyto or Follower or somebody who has an idea of what's going on in the RMFL.
League Meetings happened end of January - since that time, what has the league done to bolster its image?
I hate do be the "Debbie Downer" but let's be honest - the RMFL is slowly turning into a dinosaur. Enjoy the ride while you still can! (Don't worry, we've been saying that for the past 5 years too....)
The current version of the website is not the finished product--it's the framework. There is no doubt it needs more content, and will get it. I'm all about solutions, not problems. Other than additional content, what are some things you'd like to see from the website. I would love for everyone to chime in with 1 or 2 things they would like to see...
This new website is a joke. When I click on a game report it downloads a WORD file to my computer.... You all realize that they teach website creation as a class at most local high schools. I really hope that you all did not invest a bunch of money into site.
The thing that was great about the old site was the easy access to information and the History (thanks Kyto for resurrecting most of that information). I understand that the league as a whole is in a transition, however the way you make it through a transition is with communication and information. Neither of witch this site does well. I understand that this site is not fully functional, however it would be better to run the league through eteamz.com then on a half gimp website with no information. Not Impressed!!
A few things: The "Past Champions" tab doesn't belong under the "Contact Us" tab. I think the "Forum" tab when clicked, could take you straight to the forum, rather than a page where you have to click on the only option you have to get to this forum. I think a league leaders statistic could be put up front, or at the least available. Rather than typing up the scores and posting them on the left side of the page, there could be some sort of ticker that scrolls the scores at the top. A Little more "semi-professional." And I think the league shield should be up front of the website. A few suggestions.
I also liked the picture showing the teams and what part of the of the state where they were from. It showed our range which is what especially sets this league aside. And it would be nice to have all teams on the homepage where you could click on them and take you to their information or statistics. And on the top of the of my search engine it labels the website as "thermfl2" which could be changed to just the "RMFL" or something. And the other website had the constitution on it which could have come in handy this last week.

The website needs an area for combined stats. It is almost impossible to sort through all the teams to figure out which teams and individuals have what stats. I for one like to look through the stats and see QB ratings, Rushing yds, etc to see which players are having good a good year. Last years website had it, and it shouldn't be hard to add since you already have the stats on the individual team links.
