Week 5 Predictions from an Ignorant Guy

First off, for GOTW 29-26 > 31-7. I'm not sayin... I'm just sayin...

AAA

Cobras @ Revolution

The Cobras are really struggling this year. Starting off 0-3 is not what they were hoping to do. Hopefully that bye week has helped them to re-charge their batteries, and get some momentum going. Unfortunately, the REV is not the team you want to play against when you are trying to revive your team.

The REV have shown over the past two weeks that they are pissed that they lost to the Lions, and are letting their opponents feel their pain every week. I don't see them letting up at all this week.

REV 40 - Cobras 10

Stampede @ Lions

The Stampede are coming off a tough loss to the Vipers. Losing by 3 points is hard. These guys obviously don't give up though. They were down at the half like 21-0 or something like that, and came back to almost take it.

What can I say about the Lions that I haven't already? They are better at playing in the mud than the Shock are... To be honest I don't think the Lions will lose a game until maybe the 'ship if they play the REV.

Lions 35 - Stampede 7

Stealth @ Shock

This is my GOTW

The Stealth have lost some key players this year. Those losses have been a crushing blow to them so far. But I think they are the type of team to bounce back and find ways to win games. Hopefully they can get into a good groove soon.

The Shock are a good team. They are out this week to prove that to everyone. Losing to the Lions last week was probably pretty humbling, as many people had that game as the GOTW. I think the Shock bounce back this week and show that they are a 'Power 4' team.

Stealth 17 - Shock 21

Sting @ Vipers

The short-handed Sting did a great job last week taking down the Gladiators in Great Falls. If they show up to Davis County with a full squad they have a great shot at winning this game.

The Vipers have proven a couple times this season that they are now a AAA caliber team. They beat the Stampede and the Cobras already. Those are two teams from AAA last year. So that is saying something. I just don't know if they have what it takes to take on the Sting this week, if  the Sting play like they did last week vs the Glads.

Sting 21 - Vipers 14

Matadors @ Bulldawgs

The Matadors are still looking to get their first win of the season. I never would have guessed that they, of all  Idaho teams, would still be win-less. I guess that ICFL moving to 11-man ball really hurt them more that we thought.

The Bulldawgs are coming off a close win over the Snowdevils. That has really helped them to get some momentum, they will need to keep going 100% to keep their momentum going in the right direction. I think the Bulldawgs take it this week. the Matadors aren't really showing any sign of improvement yet.

Matadors 7 - Bulldawgs 14

Gladiators @ Anarchy

The Glads are coming off a close loss to the Sting. They are hungry this season to show they are a better team than they were last year.

The Anarchy finally got their first win of the season, over the only team in the AAA North that doesn't have a win. They did win pretty convincingly though. I think their momentum will carry over to this game. But if the Glads travel well, I'm sorry Anarchy, but the Glads win. If they don't, then Anarchy have a good shot. I'm gonna give it to the Gladiators on this one.

Gladiators 14 - Anarchy 12

Snowdevils @ Loco Express

Man, last week was a bad week for Montana teams. So both of these teams are looking to get back in the race to host in the playoffs.

The Snowdevils are a good team at home, and are tough to beat when not traveling. They rely 100% on their QB JJ Dorsch. If he has a good game, they can pull this one off.

The Locos have a Grade A defensive line. I think they will be pressuring Dorsch all game long. With Jurasek at the helm of the offense, I think they have a good shot. He is learning his offense still and figuring out who his play-makers are. Once he has that down, he will be a threat to the Snowdevils defense. I think the home team takes it on this one. The Locos are too good of a team to lose 2 in a row.

Snowdevils 14 - Loco Express 28

AA

Warriors @ Oilers

The Warroirs have show that they are the team to beat this season in AA. They are traveling, but that hasn't hurt them at all this season.

The Oilers are not the AA championship caliber team they were last year. I think they are just going to be happy to finish at .500. If they want a shot at hosing in the playoffs they need this game to go their way.

Warriors 21 - Oilers 14

Diggers @ Guardians

The Diggers lost a tough one on the road last week vs the Warriors. I think they take this game to tune-up, and get some momentum back.

Guardians scored a touchdown last week!! You still lose.

Diggers 35 - Guardians 6
