The Shock beat up on the Stealth last week, showing that they really do deserve to be called a 'Power 4' team. They are a great team, that can hang with anyone in this league. Hopefully that score against the Lions isn't indicative of what will happen this week for them.
The REV are still on a mission to beat up everyone they play against, because they are still pissed about losing to the Lions. This could be a very good game, if the Shock can keep it together for all 4 quarters.
Shock 14 - Revolution 21
Anarchy @ Lions
The Anarchy have had a great past two weeks. They have beat opponents pretty handily the past two weeks. But I guess they didn't think that momentum would make it all the way to St. George, as they decided to forfeit.
Anarchy 0 - Lions 1
Stealth @ Vipers
The Stealth are desperate to show that they are still a 'Power 4' team. They want everyone in Utah to still fear them. They need to set a precedent this week, or they will lose that.
The Vipers lost in a close game against the Sting. They can win games, and they have the advantage that the bad-traveling Stealth are coming to them this week. Not that its that far of a drive though... I give this one to the Stealth, who are hungry for a win.
Stealth 21 - Vipers 18
Stampede @ Sting
The Stampede went down to St.George last week very short-handed. They lost pretty handily, but you gotta give them props for at least making the drive and putting points on the board in the Sun Bowl. I think these two teams are pretty well matched. Both teams barely beat the Vipers, so I think that this game could go either way.
The Sting won a close one over the Vipers last week and are hoping to get a win this week to stay in the playoff race. They are the masters of close victories this season. I give this one to the home team.
Stampede 7 - Sting 10
Cobras @ Snow Devils
The Cobras got manhandled by the REV last week. They need to win this week if they want any chance of going to the AAA bowl game.
The Snow Devils are struggling much more this season than everyone expected. They need to get the win this week if they want to have any chance of hosting in the playoffs.
Cobras 7 - Snow Devils 18
Mustangs @ Matadors
The Mustangs have won 3 in a row, all at home. Now they go on the road to play for the next few weeks. They are coming off a bye week, and may struggle getting back into the groove if they aren't careful.
The Matadors have struggled all season so far. They need to win a game soon, just to save their dignity.
Loco Express @ Gladiators
These two teams have played each other already. The Locos came out on top 9-7. But now they have to travel to Great Falls. Its not them travelling that will be the factor though, it will be the Glads NOT travelling that will be the big factor in this one.
The Glads showed us the past two weeks that their home team and travel team are very different. They barely lost to a decent Sting team, then got slaughtered by a mediocre Anarchy team on the road. I think the Glads want the Montana title this time.
Locos 21- Gladiators 28
AA
Guardians @ Oilers
The Guardians lost pretty handily last week. That is all.
The Oilers are ready to put one in the W column. They are planning to beat up on the Guardians this week to get some momentum going for next week.
Guardians 0 - Oiler 28
Outlawz @ Diggers
The Outlaws are struggling still to get a W.
The Diggers are still hungry to be the #1 AA team. They are not going to let this game slip from them.
Shock (2) @ Revolution (2) - Double tie/Double forfeit. Both teams just sit in the parking lot and make fun of teams that forfeit for reals.
Anarchy (0) @ Lions (413) - In a surprise twist, Lions travel to Blackfoot and beat the brakes off of the Anarchy in their own back yard and mug them for return trip gas and Mother's Day flower money.
Stealth (0) @ Vipers (2) - Stealth are unhappy with their season and forfeit. Plans to re-apply to the league in 2016 as the Utah Anarchadors in the division that makes them feel good.
Stampede (0) @ Sting (2) - Upset by being scheduled for a game so close to home, Stampede opts to forfeit with plans to move to AA next year for greater travel opportunities.
Cobras (7) @ Snow Devils (30) - Snow Devils, not wanting to be lumped into the ID/MT classification, travel to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant View? Pleasant Valley? Pleasant Something), UT and beat a hole in the Cobras.
Mustangs (2) @ Matadors (2) - Caught up in the celebration that neither team had to leave Idaho, they forget to show up for kickoff: Double forfeit.
Loco Express (0) @ Gladiators (2) - Loco Express rolls into Great Falls and is ambushed by SWAT, as an anonymous caller (suspiciously, with a Belgrade, MT area code) has tipped police off about threats from Laurel.
I know this is trolling but this is really a crap week for the League so why take it seriously? Let's all laugh, drink some beer, and forfeit some games.
