Great North

1. Stampede - Defeated the Mustangs on their first game of the season

2. Cobras - 2-0 averaging 43 points a game watch out

3. Gladiators - You never want to see other teams have great games when you are sitting out

4. Diggers - Also 2-0 It's all about the "W"

5. Mustangs - Rough loss to the Stampede still a lot of season left to play

6. Oilers - Shutouts just feel great

7. Monsters - I think most of us overlooked this team

8. Warriors - Get that offense moving like week one again

9. Anarchy - Not the way you want to start your first game of the season

10. Xtreme - It's hard to go into your bye week with a loss

11. Outlaws - Offense looks to be able to score, now the defense needs to get some stops

12. Avalanche - 7 points a game will make for a very long season

Big 9

1. Shock - Second straight big win keep rolling

2. Trojans - 2-0 great start gotta put those games away

3. Revolution - Solid victory way to bounce back

4. Sting - Hard fought battle no one is counting you guys out

5. Vipers - Way to start the season with a bang

6. Lions - That week one loss is still hurting you guys, use that to lay out someone this week

7. Wildcats - You get this next week off. Rest up and come back strong

8. Hawks - Defense seems to be there, Offense help them out.

9. Raiders - Two games, two shutouts, two 20+ losses. The Sting won't be any easier.

Since I don't follow the Northern Teams, I can't make a very objective ranking, but it looks like the Cobras made a good move getting Workman, hes killing it so far.

Big 9 Rankings.

1. Shock - (2-0) Stat wise the most complete team so far. Wissler is completing 60% of passes with 6 TD and 0 INTs, Pretty efficient, Balanced run/pass mix. Defense is good enough. Although Shock almost pulled Defeat out of the jaws of Victory.

2. Trojans - (2-0) They are 2-0. Their 7 - 0 win against the Hawks didn't really instill much confidence in me. To me they are still a question mark. Defense and running game seem to be their strengths. QB play needs to be better 2-9 for 23 yards isn't going to cut it against the better teams, although its possible they just didn't have to do anything but run against the Hawks. It looks like they did clean up some of the penalty problems.

3. Rev - (1-1) The win against the Wildcats was more difficult than predicted. Maybe the Wildcats are better than I thought.

4. Sting - (1-1) Made the Shock game interesting at the end and if not for an inadvertent whistle they may have won. The offense played better, Wager battled, and the Defense was good. The Shock helped out with penalties to keep drives going, but that is going to happen. The running game is effective and helped the Sting control the ball for a full quarter in the first half which kept the Shock off the field.

5. Vipers - (1-0) Traveled to Vegas and got a road win, held the Raiders scoreless, which seems to be a thing with the Raiders. I thought about putting them above the Rev and Sting because they are undefeated, but I'll leave them here for another week.

6. Wildcats - (1-0) Lost to the Rev, but the game was closer than expected. Offense moved the ball ok against the Rev. The QB found its a little more difficult to throw completing only 32% of passes for 170 yards and they had about 90 yards rushing.

7. Lions - (0-1) Its hard to put the Lions this low, but they made their own bed, now they have to lie in it. I'll bet they move up next week.

8. Hawks - (0-2) Lost to the Trojans 7 - 0, They have been very competitive in both their games. Its the little things.

9. Raiders - (0-2) Lost to the Vipers 20 - 0. Haven't scored in 2 games at home, now we see if they will travel.
