If the NFL did in fact move the Raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas, what would be the legal ramifications of the RMFL trying to opporate a same city team with the exact same logo and name as a team in their league? I feel the NFL could legally have grounds to make "our" Raiders use a different helmet and team logo than their team because it's trademarked. But they technically couldn't force them change colors or name as they don't own those. We could always ask for a buy out of the name and make some money for the league? Another team in Vegas is necessary to make travel realistic in the Big 9, so we need to save the organization. Plus these guys guve is amazing threads about stats lol. But what's to become of them legally of the NFL should "move to town"
This season is only half over, they havnt traveled yet and are basically eliminated from playoffs already. Will they finish this season? They need to finish this season before they start thinking about the next one.

But without another Vegas team it become very hard to keep the Trojans which would be a huge loss to the utah teams and the travel faced from up north. the structure needs that organization in it to maintain Vegas as a viable option for the league right?
Oakland Raiders sue Las Vegas Raiders for logo and copyright infringment.
Las Vegas Raiders are forced to change their name or fold.
Oakland Raiders get rights to the name, Las Vegas Raiders.
I agree with almost all of that but as a pre-existing organization, if they changed their logo they can trademark the name Las Vegas Raiders first and the NFL would have to buy the rights from them. Could be the most lucrative team fold in history If they're smart about it.
