Defensive MVP/Fantasy points
I've taken the posted stats and assigned points to give the top players a score based on fantasy football type scoring.  Several teams are missing a week  of Stats, so the numbers could be slightly higher for players from Hawks, Rev, Shock and Trojans.

Here is the formula used:
Tackle - 1 pt, TFL - 2 pts, Sack - 3 pts, Pass Def - 1, Fumble Force and Rec - 2 pts, Block Kick - 3 pts, Int - 4 pts, Safety - 3 pts, TD return - 6 pts.
I used the same weighting last year and it seems pretty accurate.

The results:
Player        Team        pts

B Hebdon    Vipers    105.5
C Williams    Wildcats    101.5
J Larson    Wildcats    88.5
D Glenn    Trojans    81
B Stacy    Vipers    77
Dave Bishoff     Lions    76
Swan    Trojans    73
B Thompson    Lions    71.5
A Thompson    Sting    59.5
McKenzie    Rev    58.5
Laumua    Shock    52

I included the top point earners, generally players on teams not in the playoffs are not considered for MVP, but I put the top players anyway.  Obviously there is much more to the MVP than just stats and the top stat guy is seldom the MVP.  But hopefully it will get some conversation going.
