AA All Star Game & Year-end Awards
(Preview)
With the regular season officially coming to an end, I know some of you not in the playoffs will be re-acquainting yourselves with your family, catching up on yard work, and hopefully enjoying a little downtime. For the eight teams still remaining, the workload only gets more substantial, the trav...

highly questionable predictions
(Preview)
A few more weeks left in this odd, yet intriguing season. I believe it has been a success, I note the post by our friend Camulous about every game in the AAA seeming to be an all-star game, and agree, it has been a highly competitive and entertaining year!! Now the thing to focus on here is the fact that one o...

Week 10 Predictions
(Preview)
The time has come....I have been waiting to write for this week for some time now. Monster games, and playoff implications and much much more. 63-19 overall on the year. The time has come for teams to show their commitment, that commitment to excellence that truly separates the men from the boys, the...

Highly questionalble, Sub-Par, Predictions.
(Preview)
Ah I was going to write about our lengthy AA/AAA argument but then I remembered no one really cares. Between the “your picking on me” vs. the “you have no testicular fortitude” factions we have a hundred posts that all say the same thing a different way. I give them an “A” for creativity… however it is p...

Week 9 Predictions
(Preview)
WE ARE ONE WEEK CLOSER TO THE PLAYOFFS!!! Another week in the record books and if I'm correct this was my first undefeated week in my predictions! Thanks to a forfeit and then there was the Oilers barely getting it done in Elko. All in all not to shabby... Overall 53-19 on the year. The Sting, Gladiators,...

(Preview)
I figured I'd give all of the Idaho teams some props to some great games this year. Although I came onto the Lancers late and with everything the happened I'm glad that we never had a problem filling the roster to show up and compete. Even with the blowouts, we played teams with class and they appreciated...

SASA Game Film
(Preview)
The game film from SASA (last weekend) is now uploaded. The games are listed under the location and names of the crews working the games. THe files are huge, so I would suggest downloading them rather than watching them on the website. You get two camera angles simultaneously, so it's fun to watch....

Subpar predictions for week 8
(Preview)
As I lean back in my chair drinking my Bailey’s and coffee preparing for bed I would like to reminisce on the reasons for our past Holiday. No amount of giving will be sufficient to payback those that give, and gave, their lives so we can live the ones we want to. Out of respect to those fallen and still serv...

Prediction for week 8
(Preview)
Last week was rough for predictions. Nobody saw the Vikings winning and the Bulldawgs got completely shut down. This week is going to be relatively quiet considering all of Idaho and all of AAA won't be playing. Phoenix @ Bullets Bullets are coming off a huge win against the Gladiators and are look...

I am sad to say I have watched football for over 20 years and have never seen such bad sportsmanship as I did tonight The vipers continuous cheap shots on other players.. Number 10 of the vipers going off sides intentionally on a extra point to injure the holder is disgusting and class less. That's not w...

AA Playoff Scenarios
(Preview)
Since it will be a relatively quiet weekend in the RMFL over Memorial Day, I thought it might be a good time to examine some of the potential playoff scenarios that are starting to take shape. In the league meeting, we agreed to follow the same AA playoff format as last year which is: 4 teams from Idaho...

Colorado Football
(Preview)
I have known about the RMFL for 10+ years now and have a great respect for that league. Please do not judge Colorado football on what you see from the DC Reign. They are a group of upstarts who think they are the best team in Colorado, yet they don't want to join the longest running Minor League Organizatio...

SASA Exhibition Game: Friday, May 17th at 4:30PM at Davis High School
(Preview)
We are gearing up for the "All Comers" exhibition game to kick off the SASA. I've had a lot of calls with interest, but we're still looking for a few more bodies (probably 10). Per usual, we could especially use more linemen. If you have not already contacted me and would like to play in th...

Week 7 Prediction

There are some big games this week. We should get a better idea about the playoffs after this weekend. AAA Rebels @ Shock This game could go either way in my opinion. The Shock do have an advantage being the home team but the Rebels can travel very well. I think this game will be close but I'm picking...
